Lomo lost because he gave away the first five rounds or six rounds. A better trainer would have told him to get busy much earlier. Not sure if his father said that or not. Does anyone know? When Lomo did get busy, he won 5 of the 6 rounds from 7-12, but it wasn't enough. So clearly he could have won this fight vs. a very talented and much younger bigger man who's getting ready to move to jr. Welter.
Trainer had nothing to do with the lost. Loma has been trained very well by his dad. It was not technique or training that lost him the fight. He didn’t throw punches for 6 rnds. That is on the fighter. What is Floyd Sr going to add? More defense ?
