It does not matter if it was prime or comeback version, he still hit just as hard. And in many ways, comeback version was better than 70s Foreman. My point is that the key to beating any version is by out-boxing him, not by slugging it out, that would be very stupid.
Frazier by KO. Tommy didn't have the chin for a frazier hook. And frazier's head movement would make it very hard for Tommy to land his.
Morrison had bad stamina throughout his career which is not something you want to be taking into the ring with Frazier. I see this being very similar to the Quarry fight for Frazier and the Mercer fight for Morrison. It would have fireworks early with Morrison looking good in rounds 1 and 2 and then quickly falling behind before getting stopped sometime between the 5th and 7th.
If Tommy tries the strategy he used against Foreman he'll last longer. If he goes head to head he'd be stopped by the mid rounds. Either way he loses. Btw I'm waiting for somebody to say Foreman murdered Frazier and Morrison beat Foreman therefore Morrison would beat Frazier...Lol.
...and worse defense chin and stamina. This will be decided by whos the better catcher which is Frazier. Btw Morrison didn't hit nearly as hard as prime Foreman.
Its one of those fights where Tommy hits Joe really hard maybe even shaking him up and Joe takes a step back and smiles and then goes to town on Tommy.
