Can see Smith being on the receiving end of a KO similar to Pudding Whyte once he goes up weight.

Imagine Plank walking in straight lines v Bivol - he won't know whether he lives in Liverpool or Hartlepool

I expect we've seen the last of him, certainly at top level, Jurgen. His window of opportunity to take advantage of his freakish size advantage was always going to be a short one. He'll either stay at 168 one fight too many, and get murdered by weight-draining woes, or move up and get beaten up by guys he won't have a huge size advantage over. I don't think he's got the skills for a long stay at the top.

Very average fighter with limited boxing skills - the KO is near.

At least Brook and Khan had the balls to get in with GGG and Canelo - Smith full of excuses when linked with any top names.

Eh Day good at making top fights happen - Smith does not want any of Bivol or Canelo type fights.

Warrington was signed by Hearn because he can sell out a football stadium in Leeds and do a PPV for him. Since Covid has put an end to that Hearn won't care less about him.
Hearn can't put him in a fight that he could lose or he'd lose the stadium opportunity with him.

Mundane Smith has no interest in fighting. Wants a cash out then with Canelo then retire

He's never sold out a football stadium.
His only fight in the past 16 months was at an Arena. There was loads sectioned off and they gave tickets away.
Hearn is afraid of him losing though or we would have seen the mandatory.

Sorry, agree with you but I think that is (or was) Hearn's plan there. Same as he wants Callum to fight at Anfield.

Quite a few of Joe G's fighters not been out for some time or seemingly have nothing on the horizon ?

    Callum Smith
    Liam Smith
    Callum Johnson

All good fighters...... whats going on?

I watched a Gallagher interview earlier where he speaks out about fighters being offered far less money at the moment yet circumstances haven't changed for other sports money wise. Makes a good point.

A lot of other sports are funded properly through subscriptions. Think Formula 1 and football.

A lot of hearns 'top' stuff is now funded by PPVs. We've now got average fighters at the top level wanting PPV money. Can't afford to pay them it in the current climate.

Not that we should of ever been paying for it in the first place (some of us don't buy these PPV fights).

Nothing personal against Smith but I'm not going to fund him fighting over matched opponents just to cash out against Canelo. I'd rather pay to watch other fighters who are prepared to be involved in good quality fights.

I saw on twitter a while back that he's meant to fight this year.

Don't know how reliable they are just seen it on my feed. They did get some other German news right they said hammer v Allen was happening a month before it was announced.

Who would be interested in the Ryder rematch? do you reckon that’s dead on the water now?

I'd like to see the Ryder rematch, they won't do it until Ryders won the WBA final eliminator though. Too much of a risk to upset the potential Canelo payday.

I mean if he's considering Braehmer that's pretty poor to be honest.

I do think Hearn will want to match Saunders and Smith together if things don't improve with Coronavirus but Gallagher and Smith will insist on a tuneup fight beforehand.

If Smith and Saunders get a PPV date against each other it's a joke. Seriously they have almost zero fan base and have barley fought any world level operators between them.

Interesting to hear Adam Smith say in an interview today re. Callum Smith ...lets not forget he went off to ITV for 18 months for the WBSS, !

So understandably Sky and MR's enthusiasm to make Callum Smith a top priority UNLESS they can get him a mega Canelo type fight has probably diminished somewhat.

He seems to be following the Billy Joe Saunders career path of frittering away his prime, and all because he's stubbornly digging his heels in with wanting to fight nobody but Canelo.
