That seems ridiculously low. What football coverage do they have? Would UK subscribers get Serie A for instance? These numbers surely don't make sense so I would imagine that the £1.99 price would turn into £5 at least pretty sharpish.
The UK is saturated already with sports subscriptions for people who enjoy multi sports including boxing. 1. Sly Sports 2. BT Sports 3. Premier Sports who now also own Boxnation. 4. Amazon Arthur (Some Prem games) The Boxnation farce shows that a dedicated boxing channel can only work if all fights are shown on it which requires all promoters to buy in. It was good to see Eleven Sports UK suffer a quick death within 6 months by pulling a fast one on Sly Sports and BT Sports taking the rights for La Liga and Serie A - not many subscribers taking another £9.99 per month and they went Katie Price. Hopefully this mob suffer the same fate as there is little appetite for another subscription in what is about to be possibly the worst recession seen in this country
Bellator is on Sky. I will pay £1.99 for the Garcia card, bargain especially when bundled in with the rest of the months cards.
Not much more than the odd overseas fight at launch it seems- a couple of quid a month is a perplexing price point. Barely worth charging anything at all at that price.
Great now we have to pay for American fights which would've normally been on sky sports, trying to use Garcia v Campbell as a selling point when a year ago it would have been on sky, who seemingly are now focusing on British boxing and doing as many PPV's as they can
