Great opportunity for Ugas here if they can get it put together. I'm big on Ugas, hes a tough out for most in the division including Thurman IMO. Who like this fight?
I don't care for inactive fighters like Thurman. Ugas would more than likely win. Better for Ugas to go after an active upcoming opponent instead of just trying to add an 'name' to his resume.
Not going to write Thurman off just yet. But this should give us an idea how much he still has left. Just hopes if he wins, he gets a tad more active.
One time finally getting another fight. And it will once again go the distance Thurman has had 10 fights since he won the the interim WBA belt. 4 of them he won via KO.
A 40 year old ATG who is still one of the 10 best boxers on the planet. (ANd they are both welterweights...) Way to nitpick paper value stats to fit your narrative.
This is a quality fight tbf, two top contenders hovering around the top five of the division. If they cant get a title shot then this is exactly the type of fight that should be made.
