Fair enough, but there's still a big disparity in the workrates of a Jackson or Zarate (especially Zarate) compared to Smith.

There's plenty of great punchers with a KO percentage below 50.

Otherwise your different opinion isn't problem at all but we can't ignore Frank Bruno's -who fought prime Tyson,
Lennox and Witherspoon also- and by this opinion James Smith was his best puncher opponent.

Gerald Mccllean is severely overrated in my opinion
Even his top competition was very suspect
when he fought them, and had been ko'ed
    by other fighters.
He landed on Benn cleanly repeatedly and didn't stop him.
Benn wasn't noted for having a great chin.

Smith is pretty much remembered as a mediocre boxer but big puncher.

Sure he could be outboxed but he showed big power against Bruno, Weaver and the second Witherspoon fight. Granted Tim wasn't all there but still he got walloped.

KO percentage over a whole career can be misleading.

For example Juan Laporte kod less than 50 percent of the people he beat, but anyone watching Rocky Lockridge crumple at his feat from a single right hand knows he had big power.

Ingemar Johansson. Deontay Wilder has monstrous power but he also manages to sell it perfectly

When I was in Phoenix she did a photo shoot and some interviews at the gym. I don't remember if she was there preparing for a fight or just doing publicity stuff.
