I think Chisora had a point to be fair.

Kugan the slimey toerag does get a lot of unfiltered access to everyone, to the point where I think boxers only tolerate him now because they know it will get views on his channel.

Rob Tebbut would have a similar sort of relationship with the fighters if he had access like IFL do but he wouldnt have the chip on his shoulder like Kugan does.

I really don't think Kugan is that well liked amongst the boxing fraternity despite what they may portray on camera because let's face it, he is a bit of self entitled tosspot.

Who can remember him crying about not being allowed to attend Wlad v AJ. He actually saw fit to make a video about it with Eddie Hearn calling it "Beef!".

Chisora’s point was nonsensical because he was basically saying that Kugan should give his spot up to a competitor. Kugan like all of us needs to pay his bills, YouTube is his livelihood.

 

Tbf to chisora. Go back and watch some of his fights, takam, both whyte fights etc. He gave pretty much everything them nights. Hes been competetive with pretty much everyone hes fought apart from fury imo. Add to that hes fighting one of the top fighters in the world.

Even if the argument is ppv should just be for the elite. Usyk is elite. Plus guys been on ppv over the years before they,ve even achieved anything. At least with chisora hes gave pretty much everything anyone can ask of a man. He might not be the best....but hes gave enough nights over the years to show....hes deserved his shot headlining.

Its actually quite sad nowadays....no one can do enough to earn respect off the fans anymore. Or to get it you,ve to be the absolute elite of the elite otherwise your no good.

I ve watched most of chisoras career. Hes not elite...hes not in usyks class...but hes a good fighter. And hes gave enough over the years to show...hes worth his shot headlining with an elite talent.

Think fans need to get with the reality. We,d rather not pay. But the reality is if you want to see fights like chisora v usyk. You need to pay. Its a dangerous sport. Chisora should have been brain damaged by now. Who knows how thats gonna turn out. Whos gonna look after him when you pay him 30,000 for a fight. When half of that comes off him from taxes/trainers/training camps etc. Can anyone watch chisoras fights and say he only deserves the wages of a plumber. A game he,ll be retired from early. The amount of punches he takes. The hard training camps. Etc.

Chisoras gave more than most i,ve seen. Hes beat guys like takam and whyte in that first fight imo. Unlike a lot of guys on ppv chisoras not hand picked opponents but took on pretty much allchallengers. If these other guys are on ppv...chisora,s done enough to warrant his ppv.

 

I think a few boxers genuinely like Kugan but the majority just tolerate him.

They know they will get exposure and I'm sure Hearn tells them to do interviews with him to sell events but in my opinion he is a slippery, snidey and creepy geezer.


Anyway, with Chisora, it looked a little fake to me, like Chisora was playing up for the camera, I think Chisora probably feels a certain way about Kugan but if Chisora really felt that angry he would have slapped him and thrown him out.. WORLDSTAR style.

Also they are trying to promote this "Crazy Dereck" thing, like he hulking out, steaming around and wanting to steamroll Usyk.

Let's see how it's going tomorrow night after a few rounds of getting punched in the face.

I'm sure you're right mate, I was just expecting some total transformation from the spin Haye has been putting on it.

 

All Pudding Chisora has is the big overhead right which for someone like Usyk is like avoiding a big red bus when crossing the road.

If Dull Boy Pudding Pakora wins this fight then clearly Usyk will need to hang his head in shame.

 

Strongly disagree with this. How do you earn a PPV slot, have we forgot why we have the concept of PPV? It’s apparently because the purses of the fighters is so much that additional revenue has to be created to pay their purses. This fight didn’t need PPV money to make it happen & all Chisora has done is get chance after chance after chance.

PPV is for elite level fights imo not a gatekeeper who’s lost 9 fights. Joke.

 

Could be the last live boxing in the UK if the country goes into lockdown from next Wednesday.

 

Anyone got any idea of ringwalk time? Is it going to be a bit earlier than the usual 10.15-10.30 for main events? Hoping to catch it at a pub if it's a bit earlier.

 

Chisora is a complete fruitcake but hats off my man for telling some home truths about money in boxing and the fact that Kugs is privileged because he is very well paid to be that person, by all accounts.

Is Kugs bias.....mmmm actually no I think most of the time he’s quite fair but where I think he’s gone wrong is that he doesn’t seem that genuinely interested in the person anymore and he’s just got unfunny too.

I think Delboy just didn’t like the fact that Kugs is probably earning more than him without being punched in the face.
