This. Usyk is a pure boxer who is not a particularly hard puncher, even at his natural weight class. So to move up to HW and fight a huge, tough, pressure fighter and come away with the victory after 12 rounds is impressive. And I don't care what anybody says. It was a very tough styles fight for Usyk.

Isn't it common knowledge that a boxer's kryptonite is pressure? If Usyk wasn't a legit threat at HW he would have lost this fight.

 

Chisora beat whyte in the 1st fight imo and was ko'd in the 2nd
Uysk beat chisora so handidly it puts real perspective on it.

Usyk just isn't HW material. He is the best at his natural weight in the world but he will get stopped against bigger men. It's a shame, but he is in it for the money and that is where the money is. Plus I think he actually believes he is the best HW in the world. He's not but he's the best CW in the world.

 

selby didnt land a thing in the first rounds of the fight.

 

I had it 10-2 for Usyk, it was never a close fight. I thought after round 8/9 Usyk might step on the gas a little and get him out of there but he got the job done and that's the main thing.

I reckon Usyk beats Joshua, probably by stoppage. I think Fury is a step too far though, he's just too big.

 

That fat **** Bellew shouldn't be a pundit, too bias. Im more surprised with Penfold Coldwell claiming Chisora won.

To score in boxing you need to hit the opponent, it doesn't say how hard..

Really look at each of their faces Chisora's is deformed..

 

I was agreeing with you until you went into conspiracy theories about Joshua and roids. Imagine thinking the only reason an athlete can be explosive is because of roids. Ever heard of fast twitch?

My own take on the fight was Chisora hung in early but Usyk went to a totally different level starting in Round 6 and just ran away with things. Thought Chisora would get taken out but his conditioning held up. But clear win for Usyk, and he was mostly untouched from what I could tell.

A good outing, especially since he's been away from the ring for some time.

 

Bellew needs to be removed from Sky, an absolute embarrassment, he needs to be saved from himself.
