I agree Mr S, I love your posts too my friend, and yes ideally Usyk would have say.. 3 or 4 HW fights under his belt but..

If he does that Usyk now he won't be getting a shot until summer 2022?

Let's say they do two AJ Fury fights, that's next year gone, 2021 is booked, then it will be summer 2022 before Ustk gets a shot and anything can happen in the meantime.

I think Usyk has to press for his shot now, force it, and if he gets AJ the pressure on AJto win is immense, could be beneficial to Usyk to force it now.

But yes I agree, ideally Usyk would have at least another one, maybe two fights under his belt. I hope you understand what I'm saying Mr S.

I hope so! His style would do well against bigger slower opponents. In some rounds Usyk looked next level, but he didn't fight like that consistently or maybe he wasn't allowed to.

This is dumb. 1) Gassiev made his HW debut tonight. 2) Briedis has already won at HW 3) Hunter should have a W over Povetkin at HW 4) Ruiz is small and won titles

ricky hatton walked around at cw, he was a lww, because he weighed on the scales 140lbs looooool
uysk is a big cruiser and a small heavy and guess what he has no interest in the cw division anymore? are you marco huck? who are you? did u want holyfield to move back to cw looooooool. did u wanrt david haye to do that? you need some critical thinking.
you weigh below 200 and above 175 on the scales you are a cw! and now hes just weighed in at 217lbs which is above 200lbs which makes me a heavyweight. any more boxing 101's?

There's a few who are kinda unknown quantities right now like Efe, Hrgovic, Dubois. The old cliche in heavyweight boxing, it only takes one punch

I watched the fight in HD and Usyk looked extremely lean, not an ounce of fat on him. What you look like does not indicate whether you are on roids or not.

If he was younger he definitely will had more chances.
The same his version from WBSS tournament was more agile and speedy. He is very good boxer and already then had A+++ level skills.

    Exactly.

''Usyk doesn't have the chin to hang at HW''

He took everything the way heavier and harder punching Chisora could throw at him, shots which have flattened many tough HWs

    ''Usyk doesn't have the power''

Chisora who is tough as old boots was hurt numerous times and was the only one who looked in danger of going down or getting stopped

And anyone who understands anything about this sport will recognize what a great engine he has not to wilt mentally or physically under 12 rounds of sustained pressure like that. I told everyone before the fight that I thought this was going to be a really tough fight for him because I knew that Chisora had whipped himself into the best condition of his career and had been preparing meticulously for Usyk and his style for a whole year for goodness sake. Haye knows his **** and his influence was invaluable

You mean like when Vitali seriously injured his shoulder vs. Byrd, a fight he was comfortably winning but decided to not risk his career and retired?

You had keyboard warriors here calling Vitali a "coward" :shakehead: But then they'd have liked it if Vitali blew his career by totally ruining his shoulder.
Vitali got the last laugh and the keyboard warriors had their panties twisted for many years after.
Btw, Byrd losses to VK 10 of 10 times unless VK suffers a freak injury.

Yeah I've seen it in the WSB against numerous 6'6'' 250-275lb behemoths and he handled them with ease

No you don’t. But even if we entertain that idea, Usyk wasn’t hurt at any point. In fact Chisora was rocked a few times. So if we’re doing the whole hurt thing then we have about 8 10-10 rounds and then 4 rounds for Usyk. It’s boxing first and foremost. Chisora got outboxed. You don’t win points for missing, even if you miss real hard.

AJ & Fury must come first, the boxing fans are well over due on this,I guess it won't happen without a 2 fight plan. After this is done & if Usyk stays unbeat then he get's his shot with the big boys, a fight with Alexander Povetkin makes Usyk stock higher if he wins.
