Usyk is more skilled and mobile. Only question is could he take a punch from someone like Coetzee. Maybe

Bad match for Gerrie. Movers always gave him trouble. Most big punchers are heavy footed, that's where the power is generated. Add that to Coetzee's questionable stamina and I can only imagine one winner.

Gerrie just wasn't that good. Not that Usyk is great shakes as a heavy but he's got more than enough to best Gerrie.

Gerrie by KO. Usyk is too easy to hit at heavyweight

From the little I've seen of Usyk, Coetzee at his best would run straight over him. The one who destroyed Leon Spinks, beat Renaldo Snipes (but was robbed), drew with Pinklon Thomas, and smashed Michael Dokes up.

But Usyk might have other gears I haven't seen yet.

If you don't mind my asking, which fights have you seen mate? Usyk's been in a right cracker, and some of his CW performances were amazing. Much better than the fight with Witherspoon (not seen the Chisora fight yet).

I've seen most of his fights, I think. The important ones.
But that's little to go on regarding his ability against the level of heavyweight Coetzee was, and was facing.
Gassiev and Huck and Briedis are decent fighters but I'm not sure they're at the level of Tate, Weaver, Coetzee, Thomas, Dokes ..........

..... and I'm not saying those 1980s guys were great by any means.

Fair enough then, I was gonna recommend Huck and Głowacki as his best performances, and Briedis as his most enjoyable fight.

Yep! Love that fight, Huck was my favourite Usyk performance though. He was extremely aggressive in that one. I thought the Hunter fight was really good too.
