Who were the best cruiserweights, in terms of head-to-head abilities (not "greatness")? Men who actually fought in the modern cruiserweight division--not undersized heavyweights.
Off the top of my head... Carlos de Leon Magne Havnå Bash Ali James Warring Ralf Rocchigiani Guy Waters Piet Crous Bobby Czyz Thomas Hearns Sergie Kobozev
#01. Holyfield #02. Usyk #03. Briedis #04. Gomez #05. Qawi #06. Gassiev #07. Haye #08. Adamek #09. Cunningham #10. Lebedev I think...
Pretty close to how I see it. I think Holy and Uysk are even at CW but Uysk has a way to go at heavyweight before he is on the same level. I would also add DeLeon to the middle of the list and drop Lebedev for Jirov.
I forgot that Saul Montana fought at cruiser. I would add him. Otherwise, immaculate list I presented.
