Such a ludicrous statement. Who was Kabayel beat?

The anti-Whyte bias on this forum is a sight to behold.

I actually think Whyte would struggle with him.

He moves around well, boxes, and Whyte isn't exactly blessed in the footwork department.

I think when you compare Kabayel and Whyte and match them up to Fury, both would be massive underdogs but Whyte would have the better chances of a KO because of his power in that left hook. Kabayel is a pure boxer but Fury is better than him in every department. Kabayel hasn't demonstrated that he has any real power so I can't see him doing much against Fury.

If you were to pit Kabayel against Whyte I'd be going for Kabayel on points.

In any event, without doubt Whyte v Fury is a far bigger fight than Kabayel v Fury. But it will never happen because Fury and Warren would want it on BT and Hearn would want it on SBO.

No reason why Pudding Whyte cannot step in against Fury for an easy defence for Fury - time to put the recent Matchroom/Warden working together claims to the test.

But Fury has never denied it. Which is telling. He also never talks about Whyte as a possible opponent.

Whyte vs Fury would be a good fight, but it’s so obvious that Hearn et al are trying their hardest to make Fury have hard fights and put miles on the clock to attempt to soften him up before Fury vs Joshua.

There used to be a lot of respect between the Fury guys and Whyte. I remember Big Peter said the same thing a while back and said they wouldn't want Hughie to fight him.

Fury would have absolutely no fear going in there with Whyte that's for sure. I think Fury could make it look easy and I think he knows that too.

Has Fury ever been asked? I thought the pair of them said they’d floored eachother in sparring.. usual BS.

He has actually, originally he called Whyte out for some ‘diamond belt’ but that fell through for whatever reason. Don’t fall into the trap of believing boxers are ‘scared’ of eachother - they aren’t. It’s usually promoters influencing things and Warren wouldn’t want that fight.

One was 49, alcoholic. The other was 76 but was healthy, full of life and still doing bits of work.

I don’t think he is. Kabayel has done nothing of note in 5 years. Last time he done anything was against a poor Chisora 3 years ago.
Whyte vs Fury would be 100% a better fight and a lot more entertaining before and after.

People will try and discredit it because it’s Hearn and a matchroom fighter but if you don’t think it’s a better fight and more entertaining then I personally think you’re insane.
