I didn't say he was prime, I said he wasn't shot. And that was literally his very first breakout fight.

Donaire was still the third best BW in the world. That alone makes it a good win. The fact that if you actually watch the fight, the fights before, and can use a bit of common sense (sorry, I know I'm asking a lot), you can see that Donaire was still blatantly elite. Should he beat Oubaali like most expect, it'll further prove the point that Donaire is definitely not shot.

Kinda of hard to tell. I want to lean a towards Tapia, as he has a huge edge in experience and looking at different styles. I believe his chin would hold up against anything Inoue threw. This is a tough one.

I'm torn whether it'd look like the Konadu fight, or the Romero fight. I tend to think it's Romero, but Inoue has significantly more power so I'm taking Inoue by late stoppage.

But I'm weary of getting caught up in the post-fight hype.

Tapia actually lost 4 years of his prime . But I will say the best we saw of him would be the Romero fight and I believe that Version would edge Inoue.

Tapia had so much swag it's uncomfortable putting him in with da Monsta. Definitely highly competitive, Johnny has the skills, stamina & chin, but with below 50% power and much smaller framed than Nonito... dunno, that's a whole lot more complited to make it close. Donaire landed his money shot and literally broke Inoue's bone, yet not his will and realistically ended up with 4-5 rounds, and was knocked down and blooded.

How the hell Monsta survived that Noni shot is quite remarkable, and spells trouble for Tapia who just lacks that type of game changer, that didn't even change the game. So he has to box to win 7 rounds or more, and skills, power and stamina considered, I'm only confident giving him 4, you know everyone has a game plan until they get hit and whatnot, and Inoue hits hard.

People are being fooled by Tapia's flashiness and activity here.

Inoue is the better boxer of the two, on top of being the better puncher.

Johnny really does get overrated. At no point was Tapia a top 5 P4P guy the way Inoue is.

    How???

    He BARELY beat Romero.

There's a misconception that Tapia dominated that fight, but it was close and Tapia had to win the last few rounds to edge in.

Inoue is SEVERAL levels above Romero.

I don't see anyone on Inoue's resume Tapia couldn't beat either though. Not like it's full of bad mofos.

Inoue is great but Tapia was a great fighter. Tapia had speed, great movement and can make you miss and make you pay. Would have been a hell of a fight but im going with Tapia. Sd

Tricky, Inoue's not fought anyone with the speed and boxing skills of Tapia. But then again Inoue isn't Danny Romero, he's far more skilled and has quick hands and feet himself.

While Tapia has proven more, I think Inoue is special and will go onto prove himself at 122 and even 126. So I favour Inoue to beat Tapia.

Donaire gets so overrated here. This guy has only two big wins Darch and Montiel. But that's it. A part from that errr Nishioka or Arce. I would rate those good wins. Not really. This guy was 39 and had wins against nobodies lol. Quabali and Gaballol. Casimero would have destroyed Nonaire. That's why he ducked. Butler sauna champ as well. I wouldn't be surprised tapia dribbles Donaires around the ring for 12 rounds. Donaire defense is atrocious seen this guy get boxed easily. If he can't land his hail mary left hook.
