Why did Usyk duck Whyte?

    He got called out numerous times by Whyte but Usyk went all quiet and instead picked the plodding journeyman Chisora.

    Usyk has zero power and would not trouble Whyte. I can see Whyte landing the type of body shots that dropped Povetkin 2 times but an end of Usyk.

    If Usyk becomes WBO champ (assuming AJ drops the belt) Then he will have Whyte come after him again and there will be no escaping or taking the easy route fighting journeymen,

    for fight vs Whye he definitely might had cashed out more than for both fights : vs Whiterspoon and Chisora together.

    It's almost as if he wanted to ease into heavyweight before fighting a top five guy.

    It's almost as if Whyte was brutally KOed last time out, and is now rematching the forty year old that did it to him.

    I agree Mr George.

    Whyte fans are full of themselves again because Povetkin has been knocked out by Covid.


    Tomorrow it will be "Fury ducked Whyte", even though Whyte has lost his mandatory position, he hasn't got it back, so Fury doesn't have to fight him but if Fury goes and fights an opponent who they have been working on for weeks then that will be considered a "Duck".

    But ask Whyte fans why after all his complaints and whining about not getting a title shot when he wasnt offered AJ he turned it down and they will say "the Multi millions he was offered wasnt enough"...


    All of a sudden Povetkin pulls out and Whyte is now "feared! And nobody wants to fight him.. I like Whyte but its embarrassing.

    Wrong way around.

    It was Whyte who said “why should I fight him? No one has heard of him” right after Usyk just fought on U.K. PPV. Whyte then signed to fight famous household name Rivas after this.
