I respect what Bud has done in the ring but I have to say I am amazed that he is constantly mentioned as the top fighter in the world given the fact that he hasn't faced top competition in their prime. Look at the ages of the guys he has fought, for the most part. Everyone he has fought, with exception of Benavidez, have been in their 30s, in his last 10 fights. And Benavidez was nothing special and had a bad leg but still went 12 rounds. He's not fighting any young lions, that's for sure.

He doesn't push for the big fights. Seems lazy in that regard.

Totally, although he's obviously very skilled, he's got no right being at the top of the p4p lists until he proved himself consistently against some top competition. Same with Spence, although to a lesser extent than Crawford.

He wasted 2019, with undeserving Khan and the other guy who had been exposed in his previous fight with Ray Robinson.
Now he’s in with, an undoubtedly weight drained, Brook.
Focus on boxing’s elite, should focus on Inoue, Estrada, Gonzalez, Taylor, Berchelt, Lopez. They fight the best and welcome the challenges.

What's new, he's another E-Euro hype job who just fights bums.
At least he's stepping up to fight Brook, who recently took Golovkin to the limit before getting injured.

Signing to Bob Arum isn't the best idea for a welterweight.

115lbs, best division in the sport baby. Bunch of killers who are happy to fight each other. Don't forget Ioka-Tanaka is also coming soon. Stuff of legend right there.
