I guess Oscar is kicking himself for gifting the judges for those decisions. Probably should have let Canelo lose fair and square.

Canelo already has back up promoters in place... you all understand this right? He had them in place and a way out before he even filed the first lawsuit.

The lawsuit was not about “enforcing” his pay... it was about getting the contract DAZN couldn’t honor made null and void. Canelo has been pissed at fishnets for a while now and saw an out.

My guess is good old uncle Al Haymon personally. He has the stuff needed to pay off officials, get clenbuterol beef cycled properly and set up good fights.

Lol this is a win win for Golden Boy. Given the shady contracts they did with Canelo and Dazn, they are very very lucky not to be out of pocket for anything from both Dazn and Canelo and both Dazn, Golden Boy don't owe anything to Canelo anymore.

Where can Canelo make $280 million from the market in the current Covid pandemic? Where will he get the gate receipts or pay per view subscribers given that everyone is watching their wallets now?

This move probably saved DAZN a whole bunch of money. It's not like their PPV was doing that well. There's too many uncertainties right now with the pandemic. Canelo had guaranteed money. Huge gamble on his part.

Golden Boy rigged it for Canelo.

    DAZN was sold a dream.

    Canelo believed his own hype.

The networks will want the best fights now for the best revenue return and there will be no more soft touches.

Dont be surprised to see Canelo take a few more losses

I dunno, you never know with Ryan and he might do the same down the line. Haven't he and Oscar been at odds with each other in the past?

very interesting, most of these lawsuits and separations take a year or more with bitter court battles and fighters having to take big lay offs
