G-man was far better than Thompson at landed his shots and had quicker hands, plus he had a deadly left hook to the body.
Mark what is it and that group of British Middleweights? Now I know they weren’t the best in terms of who was around worldwide at the time, but they were still very good fighters, but you just don’t give them the lickings of a dog.
All Benn did to befuddle him was a little head movement, and Benn landed consistently. McClellan was a good fighter with good power and finishing instinct, seemed pretty basic, as seen against Benn.
BBBoC refused Julian permission to fight in the UK because of his eye problems. And Don King wanted options on Eubank to go to Vegas in 91.
Alot of people vastly overrate the G Man. He was good and had tremendous power. Milton outboxed him. Same with Ward. He was also a weight bully thst people forget. Look at the size difference in the second Jackson bout. If this fight goes past 3 rounds Gman is done. End of story.
Terrible comment, you do realise his blinking was due to the injury he was suffering from during the fight.
I think we would see a fully focused and serious Eubank, who would box Geralds ears off and gain a UD..
You do realise that he bought a Labrador dog every day so that his pit bull could rip it to pieces and taped the Labrador’s mouth shut, put it in the basement and let his pitbull rip it to pieces and he’d have his dog do that every day to a new Labrador, also he was in Florida driving and said to his mate who was a passenger ‘watch this’ and proceeded to run over a flamingo and then drove back and watched other flamingos gathering round the dead one and he said ‘who are these nosey mother ****ers’ and then ran those over and killed them Good ****ing riddance
I was talking about how Eubank would beat him, just thought I’d give him a bit of deserved hate as well
Well you could say he is paying the price for it now. Very very sad what happened to him, despite his other things he did i still wouldn't mock or gloat though.
I was simply far more impressed with what Jackson did to Norris than anything a British fighter at 160 did in the 80`s or 90`s.
He couldn`t handle Benn coming towards him with constant pressure but Eubank wasn`t a high volume puncher, he`d give G-man time to settle and get off his shots.
