Lol that's a bad prediction but still man, I hate when I see a thread ruined by some dumb ***** starting a racial flame war.
He won the fight 12-0 dumbass. So what he predicated a ko. Loma predicated he would teach Lopez a lesson and how did that work out hater?
Haney is solid with good pedigree The problem is at the top level of pro boxing you have to have something "special" to be a complete or near complete package to become the man or a reigning champion. Haney is still very young... but he only has a handful of years to find that edge. The main thing is to be multi-faceted and mentally have it. Crawford has everything...but clearly is not fighting the men he should be for whatever reason, now he is getting old and about to burn out. Why is the question? some edge he knows he doesn't have? I think Spence would beat him.
Didny think he was exposed He won 12 of 12 vs gamboa and was never in danger He could have won by stoppage and make s statement but he didn't Not exposed but maybe not quite great yet
Haney was not exposed he made Gamboa look flat footed and ordinary Gamboa last December gave Tank the fight of his life lmao I was more impressed with Haney's performance than Tanks. Haneys got power he rocked Gamboa a few times he just never followed it up because he didn't wanna risk getting caught while going for it. Haney still has the best footwork and defense by far of any of Tank Teo Ryan and Shakur imo. I ain't even a haney fan btw Ryans my favorite of the bunch I just recognize Haney is clearly the most skilled of the Group his powers probably the lowest of the group but he still has power
Haney didn't get exposed for his technical flaws, but rather how he'll likely be perceived going forward by casuals. His lack of power or entertainment value will hurt him, unless he gets some real big wins. It's a shame, because he's likable and well spoken, but when he gets between them ropes its a snooze fest.
Okay, well, again, I don't watch the fights. I get the word on the street and make a cold, rational assessment. I live on Devin's street but I think I still have a good vantage point, all due respek.
I thought he boxed well. Landed some very good shots, and looked pretty accurate. I thought it'd go to decision anyway but was surprised that he didn't drop Gamboa.
A 21 yr old who holds the WBC title, excuse me but that isn't a bad achievement for someone being described as a hype job.
