1. Lyle 2. Ruddock (though Earnie always has that puncher's chance) 3. Quarry 4. Norton 5. Holmes 6. Ali 7. Frazier 8. Foreman 9. McCall 10. Patterson
very good; no offence to this guy since I don't know him, but Morrison never beat a good fighter in his prime, and Quarry beat loads of them, and he beat some big ones at that
1) Ray Mercer 2) Razor Ruddock 3) Jerry Quarry 4) Michael Moorer 5) Larry Holmes 6) Muhammad Ali 7) Mike Tyson 8) Lennox Lewis 9) Oliver McCall 10) Frank Bruno
I suggest you reread your post your post "Anyone who thinks quarry beats Morrison is a proper dope". Are you seriously this thick?
Watch Quarry vs Shavers and rethink your comment. Quarry was a tremendous counter puncher and was hell for everyone he faced in his Prime. Morrison had a tremendous left hook and certainly could catch Quarry at somepoint, but he was also inconsistent as hell and nowhere near as skilled as Quarry was.
morrisson is bigger, quicker, more skillful and much harder hitting then the quarry works man Not saying quarry is crap or anything but he’s not on Morrison’s level that’s my opinion anyway bit surprised to see people thinking the opposite but everyone’s entitled to their opinion I shouldn’t have called anyone a dope I take that back and I also apologise
1) Ron Lyle vs Ray Mercer: Mercer late stopppage or UD. Unless its the worst version of him. 2) Earnie Shavers vs Razor Ruddock: Ruddock by stoppage. 3) Tommy Morrison vs Jerry Quarry: Morrison via brutal stoppage. 4) Ken Norton vs Michael Moorer: Norton TKO or UD, good bout. 5) Larry Holmes(70s) vs Riddick Bowe: Larry decision. 6) Muhammad Ali vs Evander Holyfield: As for today, close decision for Holyfields pressure. Tomorrow might be different. 7) Joe Frazier vs Mike Tyson: Terrible bout for Joe, sry. Even that version of Mike wins. 8) Lennox Lewis vs George Foreman (70s): Would not go the distance. Young GF was terribly open and relied on beeing bigger and powerful. A LL right hand bomb drops him, after that its Golota time. 9) Oliver McCall vs George Chuvalo. McCall better jab and reach, he wins. 10) Floyd Patterson vs Frank Bruno: Frank mauls the Gazelle a little later than Sonny.
Morrison over Sorry mate, but profoundly disagree with you, Quarry was the 70s gatekeeper, only the best got past him, for me too tough, too much heart ( that would cost him ) believe he would take all Tommy has to offer, bite down and comeback to force a mid-late stoppage.
