    Fight is December 19th, which is one month + 1 week = 5.5 weeks from now. How much time do you need when for 1.5 years you have been in shape and also have not fought, Jesus Christ?????

    Caleb has not fought in around 1.5 years but in that time span has always been in shape. He's getting 5.5 weeks for this fight, not 3 as you shadily claimed in the title. How much more time could a fighter need?!

    2) Caleb Plant has accepted the fight

    Why wouldn't Caleb be training for Canelo? Wtf else would he be training for? Another Feigenbutz? Lmao. None of the top SMWs is fighting each other. Caleb has no excuses.

    These guys know that Canelo is looking for an opponent. If they are not in shape and are not prepared for when the phone rings then thats on them.

    Anyway , the opponent only having 3 weeks to prepare is an uninformed opinion.

    Contracts have to be sent and agreed on. That can take time when there are different managers , promoters and networks involved. Canelo's team likely reached out to a bunch of guys weeks ago

    Being in shape year round doesn't mean you don't need a full training camp. They're different things.

    The guy could have been in camp for weeks training towards a date.

    Hes had about 4 "dates" this year. I dont see why he'd need some crazy long camp.

    Id rather have Canelo fight An Easier fight at this point. Plant has the style that troubles canelo and some pop as well. Also being the bigger man im not 100% sure canelo can win this. I think he should go with smith

    An active fighter (sadly that means only fighting 3x per year these days) needs a 6 week training camp to be ready.

    None of Plant, Callum, Saunders have kept any pace close to that...even in non "pandemic" years.

    Clenelo is one cheating SOB
