Named after Noel Coward's character in The Italian Job.

So a new division between Cruiser and HW? The name isn't that great, can see a lot of people calling it 'Bridgeweight'.

Yeah the sentiment is nice there but it's a horrific name.

Bridgeweight would sound a lot better.

If the WBC are the only organisation to have this new weight division, it's just going to make boxing even more of a mess.

Such a strange idea. Its clear only division needed is between Light Heavy and Cruiser. Should be a new weight at 190lbs brough in.

Sulaiman is quickly becoming the biggest laughing stock in boxing.

As already mentioned, the gap should have been "bridged" between Light heavy and Heavy.

What's Wilder going to do? How is Hearn going to market Babic now?

Might actually be a good move for Babic

Still a crappy idea but some people will benefit from it

    Mostly the WBC of course

All the top heavyweights between 200 and 224 will keep on fighting at heavyweight. This idea is stupid. A 200 pound fighter can knock out a 250 pounds guy.

If there was any case for a new division, it should have been between LHW and cruiserweight. I hope nobody supports this and the other organizations won't recognize it.

Haye, Povetkin and Wilder were all relatively light/small HW's that won titles in recent times and Usyk may well do the same, if you have the talent you can beat the giants and pudgy HW's.

No need for this nonsense, only beneficiaries will be the bank balances of the WBC board.
