Isn't he just 18 or something? Seems mad to be turning pro that early, I know Allen hardly had any amateur fights before turning pro but the Heavyweight game is a slightly different one, although it has still shown whenever he has tried to step up. Good luck to the kid but as people have said, he'll have to be moved along very slowly.
As has been alluded to earlier itt think the formula for success is get on the lockdown juice first, then maybe go on a Love Island type reality show like Tommy Fury and get that big casual fan base. Proceed to call out everyone at the top of his division for years whilst grinding out points results against Eastern European Uber drivers
It’s a good point. Wonder how many fighters performed poorly as amateurs but went on to carve solid pro careers out for themselves. Johnny Nelson springs to mind.
Seems ludicrous him coming pro when he was such a poor amateur, Dave had a short amateur career and he won a national title this kid has seemingly lost more amateur bouts than he's won and hasn't even won an area title at amateur and is out of shape, looking forward to the state of the latvians he will be put in with
Probably on an apprenticeship wage, few hundred quid a week and free hols to Marbella why bother developing as an amateur when you can hang with the ballers.
Best plan for him would be for him to feast on journeymen for a couple of years and let him develop he still looks like a little boy .
This content is protected I think he's gradually starting to fill out a bit, definitely in a lot better shape than a year ago
Been at training at the Ingle Gym can't be a coincidence, but in all seriousness he does look more muscular than he used too and his opponent looks like a heroin addict albeit I still think he could beat Danny if he tries
I know we all joke about Ingle Pringles and there's definitely something in it but do you think that maybe the gym is just really good at getting fighters in better shape with diet and supplements? I've no doubt that some juicing of some sort goes on there but I get the impression that they also know what they're doing when it comes to stripping down fat and getting a lot leaner and ripped.
Dom is an ex bodybuilder and from his insta he clearly knows a lot about fitness, nutrition and building muscle, his fighters also seem to employ Greg Marriott to help further with nutrition too. The Ingle Gym seem to be levels ahead compared to other gyms, i'm Dom will know which legal supplements are best asides from any use of illegal PEDs.
So Danny won albeit against a 2-37-1 opponent. Anyone saw it? Tried to find it on YouTube just now but couldn't find it.
