Garcia will take a significant step to fight Tank. If he can beat Tank then he will become a boxing superstar over night. But I don't think that this fight is going to happen soon.
What makes the Garcia-Campbell fight especially interesting is Campbell is 5'9" and a reach of 71". Garcia is 5'10" with a 70" reach. I don't think Garcia has ever been in the ring with anyone of comparable stature at this level. And a Tank - Garcia fight would be very interesting as well since Tank beat LSC who is 5'7 1/2" with a 69" reach. So, if Garcia chooses to slug it out with Tank reach may not be much of a factor. If Garcia can keep it outside then he has a much better chance, imo. He won't be able to do that with Campbell.
Yes! Also, unlike LSC, Campbell is a legit LW and a long southpaw at this stage. LSC is a blown up 126 pounder. He’s a decent fighter but not someone any of the top LWs fear. Tank-Garcia is going to probably happen eventually. Tank has power and we know he can KO smaller guys. I need to see him in with a legit LW before making any real predictions. He might be dangerous and I hope he is because it makes the division more interesting. Ryan will have a major size and length advantage but that’s no guarantee. Not looking for guarantees, just good fights. That would be a very good LW fight if both guys are as good as they have looked against lesser opponents. The Campbell fight is on hold so we will have to wait a while.
