It was Diego Chavez that brook was training for when he got injured in sparring but I can’t remember who it was he was sparring at the time, possibly a Hatton fighter?
Yep Brooks only been massacred twice in his career so far, no way it happens a third time, especially now he’s older and he’s boiled himself down to 147 again.
He did well against Spence to a point but ultimately Spence is a bigger puncher and that took its toll on Brook later in the fight where he did start to bust him up. In terms of skill they were well matched. Not sure about you mate but I rate Bud Crawford higher than Spence.
Bud is way ahead of spence in terms of achievements,Josh Taylor is already on par with spence career wise albeit at different weights.theres talk of Crawford moving to the pbc after the brook fight that's probably the only chance we've got to see it.
I hope he does, I despise boxing politics. Awesome division yet they can’t put the fights on that everyone wants to see.
undamaged brook would give crawford a very good fight. but with his eyes ****ed, crawford should beat him
No dog in this one, but I am intrigued This is a fight that nothing would really surprise me. I'd be happy for either guy to win and I just want to see the fight. I do actually like this fight a lot! Bud is obviously the clear favourite but I wouldn't be surprised if Brook did well. Brook beat Porter, was up on the cards against GGG and gave Spence quite a scare.
Brook beat Porter over 6 years ago. It doesn’t help him in this fight. He showed his skills early on against GGG but it got him injured. He was going to get stopped. Errol Spence was taking him down the stretch and he unravelled and got injured again. All these fights were years ago. He is the weight drained, busted up shadow of the fighter he once was. Meanwhile, Crawford has barely any mileage on clock and comfortably makes the weight in this division. I’d love Kell to do a job I honestly would, but this will be relatively easy pickings for Crawford. Brook might start fast out the blocks and Crawford might just have a look at him for a couple of rounds but then while Brook is busting a gut, Crawford will move through the gears.
Not confirmed, but the main card starts at 3am with Franco v Andrew Moloney, and it’s on after that. Probably around 4.30 if the first fight goes the distance.
