Joe Clazaghe vs Kelly Pavlik

Not even a contest. The Claz

 

Calzaghe all day. Could see Pavlik becoming very disheartened and timid as this one wears on. I think he goes the distance but gets his head used for a speed bag, particularly in the late rounds once he'd realised he can't get off with many power shots and can't crack Calzaghe's chin.

Near shut-out for Calzaghe, with Pavlik looking pretty sorry for himself at the final bell.

Calzaghe easy UD, almost as one sided as the Lacy fight.

 

Speed kills and Calzaghe had both hand and foot speed that Pavlik would struggle with. Pavlik was at his best in a fire fight against guys that wanted to brawl. Hopkins and Martinez both wouldn't allow him to set his feet and took that bone crushing power away from him.

 

Slappy Joe wins here. Too fast, too slick for Kelly, who liked to slug it out.

 

Calzaghe wins pretty much every round, wide decision.

 

Bingo.

 

Always liked Kelly. Never liked Joe. But...

Pavlik has no chance.

 

Calzaghe is just the kind of awkward unorthodox fighter that would confuse a stiff robotic fighter like Pavlik....Calzaghe UD

 

Calzaghe would probably embarrass Pavlik just as bad as he did Jeff Lacey
