Can Canelo move up to fight handpicked opponents at cruiserweight or bridgerweight? And win... After all he was a physical specimen at light heavyweight. Some people just have it in their genes, to be stocky mfers. Guys like Tyson, toney, Canelo no matter how much weight they put on they still look solid and strong albeit overweight at least to the point of not being too effective= too much lbs. What's the window for Canelo? How far can he go up in weight?

Let me throw around some stories here to show I'm serious. The big 3, Byrd, toney, rjj all went up from middleweight to hw and won crowns. Antonio Tarver a light heavyweight moved up to the glamour division. So did tonasz adamek. Also Bernard Hopkins was contemplating to fight handpicked Oleg maskaev at hw which never happened. As well son of God Andre Ward moved up to hw in the movie creed, albeit not in the pro ranks lol. Oh yeah and jirov and Haye moved up too, however these guys were pretty heavy to start with.

Guys with canelos body never get flabby. Such as the opposite for guys like Larry Holmes and Erik Morales, they can't carry the weight evenly.

    Your thoughts:

He'd have to be really selective.

Maybe someone like Thabiso Mchunu. He doesn't hit very hard. He fights small. But I don't know what the point would be, really.

Rather see him fight top opponents at Middle and Super Middle.

How do you see him doing against the Charlo brothers?

I think he'd win. I think he's the best right now. I was really impressed with the Kovalev win, actually. Do the Charlos beat Kovalev?

At thIs point I think so. Kovi has no punch resistance at this point his chin is shot. Unless he pulls off a masterclass boxing whick Idt he can do
