    Tick tock......

Won't belong before he's gone again which is a shame as he is such easy work.

Thanks dude. It's called realism, though, not rocket science or delusion.

Whether it's 28 or 32, it's not possible to pull off that kind of weight loss/gain and still have the level of athleticism that he did. It was probably more like 20lbs, taking him to one eighty. Hagler himself was often around 165.

Julian Jackson was around 165 vs McClellan, and the closest-to-prime verison of him took six, and nearly stopped him. Surely someone like Marvin can do better?

Julian hurt him badly in the first few rounds, he had a lot more firepower than Marv. G-Man was also very nervous and anxious having not been on a stage like that before.

With grown confidence we saw what happened in the return. He knew he could take the power.

And Mugabi was literally just brushed aside. It was almost ridiculous.

And really Hagler's chin was only tested by men moving up anyway and brand new to the division (Duran, Hearns, Mugabi, Leonard). In the late 70s and early 80s his defense was airtight.

Looking at him, he actually had a very small head.

That '78 Hagler would be incredible at 154 or 147 today, man!

Hagler wins, in a mighty war!
Benn took his best shots, got knocked down but rose to ko him. Hagler, solid chin and better fighter would take some massive hits but wins.
    Hagler by ko 9.

Benn that night doesn't count. It was like he was hypnotized and the punches bouncing off. Inhuman.

It was a good job Benn had a good three and a half years to grow into the division at that point, also. And that he'd been training with neck weights for a few years in Tenerife camps
