    "BuT PoVEtKIn DiD StEROIds"

but then Wilder flew back home before the b sample was even tested thus forcing the scuttling of the fight and later povetkin was cleared and later wilder lost the lawsuit trying to get paid for not fighting so yeah not the best look

Unfortunate drama that played out there. It was looking like a solid fight.

His ass hit his seat on the plane for the flight back home before the person who notified him of the good news had time to hang up the phone.

Some think It was Wilder's fault, some think It was Povetkin's. Can't we just move on? It's been 4 ****ing years and a half.

Wilder used appositive drug test to avoid Povetkin. Funny, that didn't bother him when it was Ortiz!

Why? Povetkin was in his mid 30's at the time. Ortiz wasn't. A very wise move by Wilder, who would have been knocked out.

Of course he ducked the fight. He had no issues fighting Stiverne or Ortiz, both of whom tested positive in their fights prior to getting a shot. Stiverne tested positive in the eliminator with Povetkin then pulled out when Povetkin also tested positive, then still ended up fighting Wilder for the title in very his next fight. How da f*** does that work?

He really would have done. I considered it an even fight at the time, and even leaned slightly towards Wilder, but subsequent events have made me see the light on that one.

Actually he did have issues fighting Ortiz because the WBC don't allow fights go ahead if one of the combatants failed a test.

In 2017 Wilder fought Washington who was a replacement for Ortiz.

Ortiz passed all the testing in 2018 , hence why the fight went ahead.

Likewise , Stirvene passed all the testing both times he fought Wilder.

The WBC granted Povetkin the same leeway as Ortiz when they allowed him gain back his mandatory against Stiverne.

But he failed a second test for that fight. 2 strikes and he was cast out.

He was given two opportunity's by the WBC and he failed them both. Its 100% his own fault , not Wilders.

    Wilder doesn't control the WBC.

    Is Meldonium a Steroid?

No. Meldonium is categorized as a metabolic modulator, meaning it affects the way the body utilizes energy.
