I've NEVER seen Frazier listed as an even 6 foot. 5' 11 1/2" is the tallest I've seen Joe listed. In Joe's prime he was several pounds over CW. My short answer: I think it's a very competitive fight. Way too many here (not as much as 10 years ago) overrate the HWs from generations ago.
I'd pick Wlad and Wilder to ice Frazier. Fury to wear him down with his mass. But Usyk isn't strong enough to keep a dog like Frazier off of him. No generational bias on my part.

Fair enough, and you might be right. I'd add Lennox and Vitali to comfortably beat Frazier. Joe was demolished twice by 6' 3" 220# Foreman.
The Usyk that fought Chisora loses to Frazier. That being said Usyk is likely to improve at the weight and easily could have had an off night. For now its Frazier for me
I think Usyk is to unproven at heavyweight yet . Plus based off the Chisora fight he’s going to have some hard nights at the office against AJ, Fury, and Wilder.
No he didn't. Ali himself admitted that he wasn't a big puncher - and that was in his era of CW sized and small HWs. Better jab ok, but I'd say close in punching. Usyk has beaten all the top CWs (as Ali did) and beat two much heavier fighters in Witherspoon and Chisora. I think Ali-Usyk would be competitive as would Usyk-Frazier. Ali went life and death w/Ken Norton who's about the same size as Usyk and Usyk is much slicker than Norton. Usyk might have a better KO resistance than Norton too, although that's not saying much. Ali never came close to stopping Norton and only stopped a fading Frazier in the 14th round in their third bout. If Ali stops Usyk it will almost certainly be due to cuts. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Ali-Usyk went the distance.
What an insult to Joe this post is. A guy who's fought at heavyweight twice? Come on. Try again in 5 years.
Joe Frazier was an Olympic gold medallist himself, weighed about 205-215 in his prime, could cut the ring off expertly, had a wicked left hook of course and great head movement. Just favour smoking Joe over the still great but lesser punching Usyk. This is a big factor when their movement and combinations are relatively equal in proficiency in their own ways. Not taking away from Usyk but a prime Frazier is a very very good fighter.
