Gvozdyk wouldn’t have, you could clearly see in his career he was mentally weak, also he threw his jab like a tap, not with any power whatsoever, and thus he wouldn’t have been able to keep Ward on the outside like Kovalev could; also, Gvozdyk cannot fight on the inside and, unlike Kovalev, did not have a dog mentality to headlock Ward or something like that to stifle Ward in the inside. Easy UD for Ward, even in UKRAINE. Beterbiev doesn’t have the defense or the infighting SKILL to beat Ward on the inside, all he has is strength; not enough to beat Ward, who would have easily decisioned that cruiserweight.
You obviously talked to Tony Weekes he thought the same thing during that fight. LOL It was so blatant a blind man could see it
He is head and shoulders better than anyone else at punching pubic areas and getting controversial scorecards.
The navel is not located anywhere near the pubes unless you're blind. However, the back of the head is located exactly where the back of the head is. Someone should tell that to Butterbeef. It would have been especially helpful during the Gvozdyk fight! Also, Ward-Kovalev 1 wasn't that controversial, and it was only 1 fight. Chavez Sr: Meldrick Taylor gift, Whitaker draw gift, and at least 1 Frankie Randall gift. Pacquiao: 3 Marquez gifts. Golovkin: Jacobs gift and Derevyanchenko gift. Got anything more to say?
Kovalev beat ward clearly in the first fight. Imo ward is a great fighter but no chance in hell against beterbiev, because beterbiev is physically just one or two levels ahead to ward. One of ward's keys to his success was his physicality, he could maul almost every opponent he fought. Bivol and gvozdyk are both 50-50 if they would fight ward. At supermiddle no one comes close to give ward even a competitive fight
