The Furious Method GREAT GREAT BOOK! its good read i advise to buy it! “As far as I know I don’t possess much in the way of spells (though my Irish grandmother was a fortune teller). “What’s clear is that I had got into his head and shook his self-confidence by repeatedly telling him I was going to drop him in the second round. “I planted that seed in his mind and uttered it so frequently in the run-up to the fight he got spooked and started believing it himself.” And Fury believes that Wilder was tense before the fight began. He explained his version of events from the night itself: “Wilder seems stiff, even tense behind the mask. “Andy Lee, my cousin and number two coach, was in his dressing room earlier to check that his wraps were correctly applied… Andy said it was tense and quiet in there, as opposed to the positive vibes in my room. “Apparently, you could have cut the atmosphere with a knife.”
Wilder was absolutely bricking it before the fight He was pacing around his changing rooms like a madman. He only calmed down during the fight after he accepted the fact he was getting a beating It's no secret that Wilder has issues controlling his nerves and emotions. He was crying after the first fightt weigh in. Always has Malik Scott having to whisper sweet nothings in his ear to boost his confidence.
If I had pre-fight nerves like that I'd turn up and get my hands wrapped as late as possible, not sit around in a room for hours.
Wilder really is a peanut brain. I hope he sends his kids to a good school and that they dont inhereit his "intelligence".
On top of the mind games it’s his jerky feinting style that confuses them on when to attack. It freezes them at the point of attack and forces them reset while eating 1 or 2 jabs in return. Aligning with Sugar Hill might have been a top 5 greatest trainer switch. Wilder had been training timelessly for the same style as the 1st fight and had no gameplan for what was to come on the rematch which is the real reason he didn’t feel the same. Once Fury took those steps forward and not back the fight was over..
Have to agree and I was a Wilder fan but him not accepting his loss and the excuses are beyond classless.. I became more of an AJ fan because in the last couple of years he’s the only fighter of his caliber(Loma, Kovalev, Wilder, Pacquiao, Thurman, Mikey etc.) that didn’t make excuses when he lost. He instead quietly took the ridicule and went back to work to avenge his defeat.
Fury put a spell on those loaded gloves to magically make iron bars appear inside them. I seriously hope Mark Breland wasn't checking them. Because the bomb squad know what happened!
Belief is a powerful drug. You can convince youself of nearly anything if you focus and dwell on it enough. Fury is a master of the head game no doubt, and Wlider perhaps could not resist the redundancy of Fury's prediction.
Well, it is a possibility. I mean, I don't believe the **** about poison and egg weights, but if all my years of watching horror films has taught me anything, gypsies employ curses.
the gypsy curse he put on him was mostly created after the first bell rang, by a 6.9 fella of 270lbs coming forward with herky jerky movements, lots of skill and lots of confidence,,,, thats plenty a curse and i am a Fury hater, its not easy for me to admit this in a public forum,
