Anybody Not Have Ali In The Top Spot?

Ali is my hero I have him at number 1 but I have no issue with Joe Louis being picked there .
In fact these days I just about have them neck and neck.

Ali is number 1 and I’m not even a fan. This other talk is hipster nonsense if we’re comparing resumes.

 

Because that's his name. Sorry if I dont recognize his conversion to islam as anything more than a publicity stunt. Celebrities do it all the time, hell Lindsay Lohan converted to islam.

Islam is about having humility and loving your neighbors, Clay was always too self absorbed and full of himself to show either of those

 

For opposition beaten Ali should be #1.

#1 head to head, I lean toward leaving it vacant.

 

An odd thing, Ali legally never changed his name.

 

I sort of have Louis and Ali as 1A and 1B.

I don't see why that matters.

To legally change your name, you generally have to go by that name first anyway.

Ranking no1: Ali

 

Joe Louis for me.

Ali or Clay was what he was, classless.

 

I have Ali and Louis as 1A and 1B, myself, and I would harbor no argument towards anyone who inverted that order, to me, the two of them are heads and tails above everyone else in terms of resume and accomplishments. Both were unquestionably great.

I don't really figure H2H into my overall ratings nearly as much, unless they're of the same era, in which case it can play a direct role.

 

I vaguely recall someone else doing that a while back. Pretty sure they got banned. Hmmmmmmmmmmm
