Khan would win easily. All he'd have to do is force Brook to make 147. And Brook would comply because he's a sucker for a fight with Khan.

I’m not a Ricky Hatton fan, he def should have fought Witter. My point was in response to the nonsense comment that ‘Hatton defended his WBU before he was exposed’ which is just cr*p. He was an elite 140 lb fighter and would have given anyone murder at the weight. He def stayed at home too long but that’s a business decision rather than him getting exposed as he beat enough world class boxers to prove that. I don’t even know why there was a comparison to Kell. Personally I just think his punch resistance was gone at 147 last night, he couldn’t hold a shot which he has been able to his whole career. Sad way to go out. He made a few quid overall but leaves with more thoughts of ‘what if’ than anything else

Special One is finished hope he hangs them up and doesn’t become fodder for fighters he’d of smashed in his prime. Crawford looked okay I really must miss what everyone else sees in him. His best win is Viktor Postol haha. Think spence beats him handily

Granite chin but less solid in the jaw area after the Beltran fight so he no longer engages.

Incompetence or corruption - it is very hard for this to be explained by incompetence similar to Spud O'Connor's career.

    Shocking.

Not Top Rank’s priority of course but the after fight interview was awful, just kept asking the same question about Crawford v Spence. Anyway Brook on social media interview backstage ‘that he’ll speak to family but it could be the end of the road’. It will be really demoralising for him as by all accounts he’s been in camp to 4-5 months for this and given it a go. I can’t see a way back for him unless an immediate fight was at 154, he’ll never fight at 147 again in a million years. There is nothing domestically for him especially as relations are poor with Hearn and Warren.

Concern would be that he retires and then tries to come back in 12-18 months.

27 minutes using boxing VAR when there is no sign at all of a headbutt of any sort near that eye.

Franco and his corner are a disgrace standing there as he knew what happened.

He chose to go it alone to eek out more cash. Then complained and cried when Matchroom and Sky weren’t interested in helping him out. His ranting interview about both smacked of desperation. He’s burnt his bridges there should he decide to continue.

As Adam Smith said in the IFL interview, with no gate receipts they have a limited pot so are limited in what they can show. Channel 5 weren’t interested, ITV weren’t even interested. It ended up being shown a channel that’s the equivalent of Trans World Sport, which people of a certain vintage might remember from channel 4.

Of course he’d take the Khan fight if it came up. And I don’t hold Khan in high regard these days, but he’d rinse him. If you’ve had a 4 to 6 month camp or whatever it was, I’d expect a bigger shot to have ended it.

Brook paying the price now for being at 147. Should never have been at this weight.

You just know Khan Brook is coming probably on some moody PPV channel nobody has heard of, without 624 buys.

What will really hurt Brook is that he folded quicker than Khan did, that will really really gnaw away at him.

Both Brook and Khan should now retire.

Not a chance that they could sell out a stadium now. Even @Jurgen would be confident of his Mugths seeing this light.

Best bet they have is as one of the chief supports to one of the Joshua / Fury fights next year for their final fight.

    Age waits for no man.

It went nothing like you predicted, well done for picking the 1/20 winner though. Amazing

Noticed that as well in the post fight interview and thought that must be so gutting and humiliating for Kell. A former world champion now being used as a measuring stick for Spence and Crawford after a KO loss, no questions at all about his future or his wellbeing.

It was probably at that moment that Kell has realised there are no meaningful fights left for him at any division.
