Coupled with the fact none of the national papers have a clue who Scott Fitzgerald is.

He needs to get out of Preston and into a proper camp to knuckle down now before he loses his career.

I always thought the ingle gym would be a great fit for him

Innocent or guilty. Lad needs to grow up, stop attention seeking on social media and get to work. End of.

He's usually fairly quiet on social media compared to other fighters. That week where the incident occured he was really active and was a bit of an anomaly. It was pretty clear in hindsight he was in a strange frame of mind at the time, completely wired judging from his instagram stories.

Yes it was Steve from VIP, looking after his fighters and making sure that the correct information is been presented on the forum.
I'd lost track of Fitzys situation myself. Anyway I'm glad to hear the whole situation can have a line drawn underneath it now, and all party's can move forward with their lives.
I do think Scott has the potential to do well in the sport.

Look, I said IF, IF, IF convicted, meaning if he did it, IF HE IS FOUND GUILTY.

I couldn't be more clear.. wouldn't you agree that if he is found guilty that he has assaulted 2 women that he deserves all he gets?

But OK, let me give you a scenario..

He is dating a young 21 year old woman, there have been many people say he is going off the rails, Eddie Hearn himself has said it publicly, anyway, she don't like the relationships she's in anymore, he is drinking and a wild, so she's unhappy, she's nervous around him and his mood swings so she leaves him.

So goes home to her Mum, she doesn't ring the police or cause a scene but she up and leaves and goes home, Fitzgerald doesn't like the fact she's left, he is unhappy and angry, turns up at her Mums house, maybe and very possibly after a few beers.

Maybe to try and win her back, maybe to have a pop at the way she's finished things, anyway, they start arguing, a few things are said, things get rather heated so her Mum jumps in (after being told about his mood swings and her daughter saying he frightens her) so he starts with her Mum. They are all arguing.

Let's imagine the 23 year old man was her brother, Obviously any man seeing or hearing his Mum and Sister being verbally abused and maybe in real danger is going to do or say something, let's remember he is going to confront a professional boxer.

So a pissed up and raging Fitzgerald gives him a slap, the Mum tries to stop a fight and get hit/hurt and the young woman feeling like it's all her fault jumps in and also get hit/hurt.

You tell me which scenario you are more likely to believe given what we know about Fitzgerald and his frame of mind an behaviours?

He was there to get his bike, they tried to block the door and he barged through and they got knocked over in the process. That what I heard.

No point it speculating, I can imagine a million other scenarios. But he clearly needs better people around him.

I completely agree, we don't know exactly what happened. All I was saying was if convicted of assault against 2 women then he deserves all he gets.

Looking at it another way, how many times are Hearn, Matchroom and Sky going to overlook or give a pass to fighters who have abused women?

We have seemed to accepted Hearn, Matchroom and Sky's hypocrisy when it comes to drug cheats.. they are now having this big female boxing push, rattling on about equality and playing the woke card.. but seem to have a blind spot when it comes to this sort of behaviour.

Fair enough. You’re one is plausible too but it’s tough **** if the other lad can’t fight as well as Scott and unless Scott is being aggressive with her daughter the mum should stay out of it as well. I would agree that if he’s gone around and started a commotion on purpose he’s out of order and if he’s hit women that’s well too far but we’ll never know. With interfering family these things often spiral out of control even if the so called instigator and total villain in the eyes of the law and most others had good intentions. I am always innocent until proven guilty with these domestic things as I know what many women are like and how men are portrayed in these instances. I’m sounding as if I’ve been in trouble myself over this stuff which I haven’t but I just know what goes on.

I am glad he’s been found innocent otherwise I couldn’t support him again tbh. I’m not like all these Tyson, Chisora and Gervonta Davis bum boy hypocrites.

Oh I agree, I bet there are so many examples of women bs'ing and ruining men's lives, actually we know there are..

I just have a problem with that sort of stuff, especially the fact he is a professional fighter, just show some discipline and walk away.

Hearn and others have mentioned he has a few problems, we've seen it before and will see it again, some young man ends up losing his cool and ends up in jail.

He’s been put the ring for over a year now, I hope he can knuckle down, get the Fowler Rematch and push on. Then again he didn’t train properly for the first one and still had more in the tank than Fowler the machine haha. Seriously though, I hope he can achieve what his amateur promise suggested. Seems a nice, likeable lad deep down. Many people **** up a bit.

Though let’s not forget he was cleared of all charges in the end.

To me he seems like a troubled soul who puts himself in silly situations with people who aren’t good for him. Needs to rise above it. Plenty of people will try and drag him down.

The scenario I heard was that Scott was actually out selling poppys at the time, and it was in fact that vile scumbag Anthony fowler disguised as Scott who went round and knocked seven bells out of the birds

What sort of behaviour? Man has been cleared, you should be apologising instead of this crap .

and “assaulting” someone can, as previously been said, pushing by some one and punching someone.

one of the above maybe happens, the other def didn’t.

    stop trying to white knight

He's given you the swerve on that pal:(

The pubs are shut in Leeds. Josh is missing the back-slappers so is on social media constantly seeking them.
