I've asked about this in the past ... but would interested in a technical assessment of Meehan. Anyone have any comments?
Meehan has fought atrocious opposition. The only fights Ive seen are vs a never-boxed-before debutant on the Jeff Horn v Randall Bailey undercard and vs a 5'10 heavyweight on the Joseph Parker v Kali Meehan undercard. Meehan is 6'5 himself. His second to last fight was vs a 43 yr old Argentinian. His last fight, his ninth fight was a UD over a 4 fight novice Hungarian. So we really have no idea at this point. He needs to step up to Australasian journeyman level next yr. Look for him to go in against the likes of Hunter Sam, Bowie Tupou next yr. Technically speaking, and I'm no expert, he seems to have a pretty good straight left with higher than average power. He comes from good stock- Kali was a mean puncher in his prime. If Parker beats Fa then I'd like to see Fa vs Willis fight in 2022.
Bakole-Kuzmin will be on the Pulev-Joshua PPV card. https://www.dazn.com/en-US/news/box...to-joshua-vs-pulev/1io02f6035z4d1bwxh6rostbwr
Jose Larduet moves to 4-0 after a 1st round KO victory over Ferenc Urban. Christian Thun moves to 6-0 after Mirko Tintor retired in his corner after the 3rd round.
Boxing or wrestling in jelly? If it's boxing I'd strongly favor Hunter ... if it's Jello Wresting I'd tend towards Welliver.
