In the scenario that Wilder forces a third fight and AJ fights Usyk in March; will the Fury fight ever happen if AJ loses to Usyk?
So lets say Fury fights Wilder in spring, as well as AJ vs Usyk. Fury wins, usyk wins. AJ will DEFINITELY have a rematch clause, and that fight will happen in winter 2021. In the meantime, Fury will fight someone else, could be the winner of Whyte v Povetkin 2 as a mandatory. Fury will have something to occupy himself with. The fight could still take place in 2022 easily if they both end up pulling through.
In Addition to my comment above though, the promising thing is this - Joshua tends to take at least 5-6 months in between fights. He doesn't fight 3x a year, he's only ever been a 2x per year fighter. So if he beats Pulev, Usyk will probably have to wait until at least may, and by then, Fury v Wilder 3 should have happened. Then Fury and AJ could immediately agree the fight and AJ will forfeit his WBO.
That puny Usyk isn't beating the bodybuilder, judging from those Chisora and Witherspoon performances. Lol
