This is a decent fight, quite interesting match up. I think Connor has enough to beat Formella and should stop him.

Would be ridiculous for the show to go ahead if this fight is off though.

If this is cancelled it would be the 4th fight from this show to not go ahead as originally planned!! May as well just scrap the show if that was the case...

I think we’d have to give Connor huge credit if he manages to stop him. Porter couldn’t manage it so it would be quite a statement.

I've liked this purely for your username giving me a chuckle lol

I haven't seen any of formela so I'll have to watch a few of his fights.. I'll be amazed if Benn can stop a guy who hung with porter... While porters not a one hit quitter he's on you like a rash and if you've a weakness he'll break you down

If Benn wins, he deserves massive credit tbf. Not only did Formella last the distance with Porter, he also has a good win against Mbenge

Eddies latest interview on skysports . Believes Benn is world class as he has sparred brook. Also says kelly could be world class but needs to prove it. Personally don’t think either are world class but funny to see the favouritism towards benn.
Think benn gets found out Saturday night if the fight is on. Atleast it saves us a benn vs kelly ppv in 2021!

Even if Benn beats Formella by KO, it doesn't do a lot for me. He could end up bum rushing him at the first bell for all I know and stop him.

Doesn't change the fact you can tell he's no where near the skill level of someone like Porter. That's what truely matters when you go up to the top level unless you've got absolute dynamite in your hands.

IMO at some point soon he's going to have a Wilder style reality trip, will really knock his confidence.

Benn world class?! Man he can talk some garbage which people believe. 5 fights ago he barely held on against Cedric Peynaud. I'm sure he's improved a bit since then but at the same time he couldn't really get any worse.

Formella is a legit win. He’s just outside of being a legit contender in terms of level. IMO Formella wins 8-4 and gets shafted on the cards.

I agree, anywhere near close and Benn gets the decision, and like you say.. even 8-4 Formella and they will somehow give Benn a SD, some type of 115-113 x2 Bullcrap.

I believe Benn is very brittle around the chops, if Formella has any ambition and can punch a little bit then I think he could stop Benn.

But I am sceptical, they wouldn't have taken this match unless they have seen something or know something, they had other easier options, they made this for a reason.

    But we will see.

    I agree.

Actually if he does blow out Formella I say let people believe he is Porters level  and stick him in with Thurman, Mikey Garcia, Porter himself.

That would be very funny and the real casuals don't know any different so if Hearn, Sky and the rest start beating the drum and mentioning Porter then it's going to be a hard sell when Benn is facing some unknown Lithuanian after this.

The fact I see Hearn let slip in an interview he did yesterday.. if Benn wins Saturday he's looking forward to the "likes" of Josh Kelly in the FUTURE, not next or even next year but the FUTURE.

Hearn and Sky will milk this for as long as they can, also Everlast just done a deal with Benn, I don't think his new sponsors want him beaten up yet.

Think that Formella has been doubling up as a Welsh gay weatherman

I don’t think he will win anyway. The reality check will come on Saturday night.

Formella seemed pretty comfortable on the backfoot against Mbenge, don't think he'll be fazed by Connors pressure and should stop him

Formella is a sound boxer. Benn gets it beat up, a clear decision for Formella. (If they do end up fighting)

Is the fight still on? I thought I heard earlier in the week that a member of Formella’s team had failed a COVID test and the fight was off.
