Side note, you keep focusing on that 150 lbs. thing like it's an actual point. You...you realize you don't have to be 154 lbs. to compete for the 154-lbs. belt, right? You just need to be...not bigger than?

And you can call it a 'joke' until doomsday. It's still a recognized version of the belt he won, so he has eight. If you want to say he wasn't the best super-welter, no one's going to argue with you, because he wasn't (even close). You say it was motivated by publicity? I can get behind that. You want to cite it as an example of 'too many belts' or 'too many sanctioning bodies' I'll hop right in that fox-hole with you.

But you don't, and you won't. You just want to denigrate and minimize anything Manny Pacquaio does, because you have some weird hate-boner for him, to the point where you'll ignore your favorites being equally guilty of the same things, but x10. Case in point, did you say, "I don't really recognize Manny's "8-divisions" but he's still at least a legit 5-division champion."? Nope. You went with "MANNY'S CAREER IS A LIE AND LOLOLOLOLOL IF YOU THOUGHT HE WAS EVEN SLIGHTLY GOOD". To be honest, I'm impressed you had the restraint not to go with "kTf06 lulz".

    LMAO!!

So you consider Pacquiao a Jr. Middleweight Champion of the world because he beat Antonio Margarito who was destroyed in his last title fight by a shot Mosley at Welterweight, and did not deserve to be ranked a Jr.MW... at 150? LOL

Wait...mandatory defenses are how you draw the line? The thing that prevents "best fighting best" that you cited earlier as a requirement to becoming a champion? Could you please have something approaching consistency?

No, just reading through ****-poor grammar, a multitude of spelling errors, and most of all a poorly crafted argument trying desperately to sound pithy and authoritative.

Except, and here is where you are being slow on the uptake...I don't. I can count them all. Because everyone else does. This isn't some childish 'have my cake and eat it too' moment, this is me conforming to the reality that is boxing. You denying it doesn't make you smart, it doesn't give you some moral high ground, it just makes you look petty and dumb.

he was literally a child starving to death when he started his pro career. Thats the primary catalyst to Pacs record. He's massively talented as well but let's not act as though he's on the same level of a Roberto Duran

According to the WBC, he absolutely was, and who am I to doubt their good word? You certainly have never given me a reason to, beyond citing a weight limit he met and an opponent they had their full confidence as a worthy contender to represent them at super-welterweight. Unless...is there a reason not to take the WBC's word? To doubt their credibility as a sanctioning body? To look at their every ruling and decision with suspicion until they prove themselves above it?

I mean, I'm absolutely here for that conversation if you are. Unless you want to type in all caps 'LMAO' over and over some more and pretend you haven't been utterly wrecked once again.

Oh my God...an argument critical of Pac's resume that's logical, doesn't denigrate him or deny his accomplishments, nor degrade into net-speak, name-calling, or arbitrary gate-keeping.

I...I think I'm going to cry.

I think he's one of very few who could actually accomplish this it with all things considered. The touting of the number of weight classes always rubbed me the wrong way but I've never actually seen pac do so just fans

If Pac came from a place where malnutrition wasn't a thing, I doubt he'd have competed at flyweight; he put on too much weight too quickly when he started making a paycheck. Probably super-feather to welterweight range (maaaaa~ybe featherweight). It's something worth touting even despite that because it is utterly amazing no matter which way you look at it (someone who started that small, regardless of why they were that small, has no business beating anyone at super-bantamweight, let alone welterweight).

But yeah, place him somewhere where a burger didn't cost a literal arm and a leg? He doesn't have anywhere near the same career, and possibly not as dramatic.

Guys, I think I may have spanked IsaL too hard this time. He's utterly broken to the point of just repeating netspeak over and over again, because he can't respond without confessing something he really, really doesn't want to confess.

I would say "Not quite as funny as your double-speak while trying to hide your blatant hypocrisy and weird hate-boner for Pacquiao," but honestly that joke got old ages ago.

Precisely why I put his pointless ass on ignore. He's the worst type of dumb poster, he actually believes himself to be smarter than most.

I wish I could bring myself to. To me, it just runs counter to the point of a boxing message forum though. Arguing with idiots is as much a part of this as enjoying the sport with those I consider 'the cool people'. Besides, whenever he's not talking about Canelo or Pacquiao (those wonderful, wonderful blue moons) he's not half-bad.
