Marciano makes almost every top 10 list. Dempsey makes many top 10 lists. Is someone having them at #1 & #2 enough to assume racial bias? If his top 5 were: 1. Dempsey 2. Marciano 3. Jeffries 4. Tunney 5. Cooney Then you have a point.
Obviously no, but I think he would have been a beast at cruiserweight. With day before weigh-ins and help from nutritionists, I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up being able to make 175. His fight night weight was around what LHWs weigh now.
