    Brook landed plenty, and marked and cut Crawford.

    My short conclusion is Crawford doesn't have good defense vs. a quality opponent, and will have to win with his offense.

    Too bad Brook showed the chin of a flyweight, he was doing pretty well.

    He's got ok defense. He gets hit in every fight basically. But as you said, his offense overcomes it easily so far.

    How many Mayweather's, Pep's, and Locche's are their anyway? Tons of top fighters got hit a bit, means nothing.

    He’s not a safety first fighter. He’s looking to land big shots not just make contact. Best Defense overall is still Roy Jones. If you’re talking about defense from guys who were primarily playing defense, Floyd is in the discussion, along with Rigondeaux etc. But there are guys with much better defense than Mayweather on the offensive. And like I said,overall, it’s Jones, by quite a ways.

    Mayweather's offense isn't in the same league as Crawfords. Can you imagine Floyd stopping Brook, Kavaliuskas or Idongo (in his 140 days) like that?? Crawfords fire power is much much heavier.

    Stylistically two completely different fighters.

    Let's be clear which Mayweather u speaking of? Pretty Boy Floyd offense is miles better than Crawford's offense. Money Mayweather version still had good offense, he was just way more defensive mind first at 147.

    Brooks 1/2 looked sharp. Crawford's not the kind of guy looking to pitch a shutout either.

    Mayweather never displayed the kind of firepower at 147 that we've seen from crawford so far though
