Good fight this although Sky won’t really like Smith being exclusively on DAZN which could cause further friction. Sky/DAZN need a resolution pronto.

He’s not exclusively with anyone. Took a fight with Canelo in the US which is to be shown around the world by DAZN. Same with Brook last week. Sky know their business. If they wanted to put the money up for Canelo to fight smith on Sky PPV I am sure they would have. Money is not there for that in the UK and Sky know they will have a big battle on their hands once DAZN launch across the world as they will be able to buy rights across the globe to the fights.

As much as I agree that Canelo does always (appear) to gain every advantage, I am 100% certain that Smith wasn't sat at home in his underpants eating junk food having a few cans when he saw a twitter notification telling him that this fight was confirmed! Smith should be in shape anyway - He hasn't fought for a year. He must have been due to fight around about now / next month anyway. Just a bit of 'fine tuning' to be done.
How bad Canelo is for staying in the gym all year round, how unprofessional. And Smith has been training for ages anyway
