On an undercard somewhere Helenius would be an acceptable opponent, but let's be honest, he knocks out Helenius in quick time. Helenius is quite in keeping with his many predictable title defences.

No, of course not. I think he has gone full split personality. Part of him wants things to snap back to what they used to be, and part of him is terrified to fight again.

Wilder said he would fight around January and February time. I expect it to be against Helenius as alll the other fighters he mentioned are top fighters (most of which are already fighting) unlike Helenius.
And it's all down hill from here. One of the bums is going to end up starching him before he can land another big fight He'll wish he cashed that rematch clause in.
When did Wilder ever fought a top fighter except for Fury? and we all know how this turned out for him
I expect it will be against Fury in February or March. That's what the people at ESPN and Fox want. And ESPN is who Fury is fighting for.
I'd rather see Fury/Joshua and Wilder/Ruiz, but probably we're going to get a third fight that very few true fans want but will make a lot of money anyway.
