Why would ESPN prefer that fight ahead of a much bigger earning fight against AJ? Unless Tio Rank Match Makers dont have confidence in Fury winning that fight.

Also Fury would look a bit foolish going back on what said about never giving Wilder a shot again due to Wilder's dreaful excuses and accusations.

Wilder fighting Helenius seems much more keeping up the pattern of fighting low level opponents that Wilder has done his career. As Hearn says always look out for the odd name on list, Helenius is definitely that.

Oh boy. So anything that comes out of Wilder's mouth is a lie, but you blindly believe everything everyone else is saying?

Joshua is going to fight Usyk after Pulev. Usyk is the mandatory. Usyk is not stepping aside. And, more importantly, Joshua has never said he will drop a belt to fight Fury because he's ONLY fighting Fury so he can win all the belts (and Fury has the WBC belt now).

When Fury DIDN'T have the WBC belt, Joshua and Hearn showed zero interest in fighting him. And they will have ZERO interest in fighting him if he drops the WBC belt.

And if Whyte wins the rematch against Povetkin, the WBC has already said the Fury-Wilder winner has to fight Whyte next. And Eddie Hearn will push them to do that.

There is NO Joshua-Fury fight happening in the near future. I know Eddie Hearn said there is, but he always says a unification is next when Joshua is preparing to fight a no-hoper.

Fury-Wilder II was a cash bonanza. ESPN wants the third fight. They have always wanted it. They keep asking for the fight to be moved so they can make as much off it as possible. Fury is under contract with them. So that's who he is going to fight.

Wilder has fought Luis Ortiz, Tyson Fury, Dominic Breazeale (his mando), Luis Ortiz, Tyson Fury and he's activated his return clause to fight Tyson Fury for a third time next. (Nobody else.)

He's not fighting Alex Leapai, Shawndell Davis and Junior Fa. He's not fighting Andy Ruiz twice and Pulev. He's not fighting Chazz Witherspoon and Chisora.

Wilder has fought the best competition of any heavyweight in the division for three years in a row now. And he wants the #1 pound for pound boxer for A THIRD TIME next.

That is the pattern. It's not 2017 anymore.

Hearn has already come out and said to MIchelle Joy Phelps that he thinks AJ will vacate the WBO in order to fight Fury next.

"Its the fight he wants and who can argue that the winner of that isnt the best in the world" Hearn

    20:02 "VACATE"

Personal preference for Wilders next fight would be Ruiz Jr.
If he wins, he can go after AJ/Fury winner.

    "He thinks." (That's clarity.)

Wake me when Anthony Joshua vacates any of his belts.

Or when Anthony Joshua steps up to the camera and says "I will vacate my WBO title to fight Tyson Fury next. I couldn't care less about it. Belts mean nothing to me." (LOL)

(Because we all know belts mean EVERYTHING to Joshua.)

Every time Joshua fights a no-hoper, Hearn spends 90 percent of his time telling people that Joshua will unify next because he can't sell the garbage he's got coming up with Joshua next.

Hearn and Joshua want all the belts. That's been their plan for four years. They aren't dropping any of them.

"I always said the belts do not represent me," Joshua told Sky Sports. "I will stand as a champion, even if I have to give one up.

"It would give me an opportunity to face another world champion - I've beaten four world champions on my record now." - AJ

Wilder better hope that the old ex-judge is on his side in the coming weeks.

Ortiz? The guy who has had one notable win his entire career against Jennings 5 years ago and is still living off that? Wilder even had the nerve to rematch him to avoid AJ unification.

Wilder only picked Fury as viewed him as a soft touch (even said it hinself in his latest interview that he only fought Fury as he felt sorry for him all trouble he was going through and that he could of earned more against AJ). Fury at the time of their first fight still looked massive out of shape and looked very poor in his first two return fights against Sefri and Pianetta. Only fought Fury in tematch as Fury was made mandatory when they stripped Whyte under false causes.

AJ on the the other hand has beaten 5 better boxers than Wilders best win in ortiz in Wlad, Povetkin, Whyte, Parker, Ruiz and is about to fight a sixth in Puelv.

Blah blah blah. You are living in the past.

Where was Fury rated when they fought in February when Wilder "picked" him? Where was/is Fury rated when Wilder activated the clause for a third fight earlier this year and "picked him" again?

Fury is the WORLD heavyweight champion and the #1 pound for pound fighter in the sport.

Wilder hasn't gone to arbitration to fight Robert Helenius. Wilder doesn't have a signed contract with Robert Helenius. ESPN hasn't delayed Wilder-Helenius for months so they can have a live gate and maximize revenues.

    Catch up.

That interview is back when Wilder was still champ. Like I said, wake me up when Joshua says he's vacating the WBO belt to fight Fury.

Wilder didn't pick Fury in their second fight. WBC made him their mandatory.

Wilder let the clause run out after already postponing the fight twice so it doesnt seem that Wilder has intention of fighting Fury a third time. Just taking abbriation to save face / PR gimmick.

Fury has already said he would never fight Wilder again after his accusations and excuses.

I still think it will be Helenius.

Wilder activated the clause days after their rematch. It was widely reported March 1 this year and confirmed by all sides. (I posted a dozen links when someone made the same baseless claim last week.) Wilder didn't postpone the fight, the pandemic postponed all fights. And ESPN asked for new dates to accomodate a live gate, and requested new dates in January and February, too, which Hearn, Arum provided.

If you are still trying to beat the dead horse that Wilder is only fighting Fury because he thinks he's a coke head then that ship sailed years ago.

Like I said, CATCH UP. The 2017 shtick doesn't work anymore.

The heavyweight who has fought the best competition over the last three years has been Wilder. And he wants to start off 2021 fighting the best in the whole world again.

Junior Fa isn't the best heavyweight in the world. Chazz Witherspoon isn't the best heavyweight in the world. Kubrat Pulev isn't the best heavyweight in the world. Tyson Fury is. And that's who Wilder will fight for the third time next.

    That whole conversation was "ifs."

If Fury doesn't fight Wilder next. If the WBC doesn't make Fury fight someone else (Whyte). If Usyk doesn't agree to step aside until after Fury-Joshua 1. If the WBO doesn't allow Joshua-Fury first. If Usyk doesn't agree to anything ...

And he made sure to say he "isn't Joshua" ... so he can't make the call ... but "he thinks" Joshua will vacate. (He isn't sure. He thinks, though.)

LOL (And then says the only thing he's ever disagreed with the WBC on was Franchise belts and Bridgerweight. I'm sure Dillian Whyte will love that quote.)

Yep, sounds like a sure thing.

Wilder ain't gonna fight anyone decent next it ain't 2017 anymore but he still running from Joshua and went into hiding for 8 months after Fury battered him. Wilder himself even said this past week that the fight he next wants is Whyte or Ruiz. That's what Deontay said but still the blindly led ldbc boys can't see the truth.

No Wilder won't fight this year. Who really want to see that spastic splashing around until he land a hil mary on someone..

Now he brings nothing to the table he won't get any good fights, should have cashed out with AJ but like his few remaingin nut huggers he is too delusional to do that..

No one wants to see Fury - Wilder 3, the networks don't care and everyone is focused on AJ v Fury which will be the biggest fight in a very long time, probs be bigger than May Pac tbh...

Its also ready to go as both parties want it and from what I heard its just a straight 50-50 split given they are both by a huge margin the two biggest star in the hw division..

For the good of boxing everyone need to focus on that fight...
