You sound like every other deluded idiot on this board. You call out everyone yet there is no substance to anything you say. You haven't even presented an original thought yet your bloviating about everyone's lack of knowledge. Pathetic really
Really surprised to see people claim Crawford was struggling early (not just that he dropped 2-3 rounds, but that it was a problem in some way). He just wanted to be patient to take away as much "puncher's chance" risk as possible. Even the rounds he lost there was no sense of Brook controlling the fight.
People refuse to acknowledge this. Edging out 2 or 3 of the first 4 rounds of a fight mean almost nothing
Lacking context? I clearly say Brook is inferior version that Spence fought, I state it's an opponent with name recognition but in reality meaningless to his legacy because of the fact this is an inferior version of Brook one who's punch resistance is questionable at welter. How is that not context?
For most fighters dropping rounds is a sign or struggling but for fighters like Crawford and Usyk who often do little early to gauge and figure out opponents it's not really the same thing is it? I mean they are basically choosing to spar opponents early instead of fight them their that comfortable, sure they technically lose the round but once they flip that switch and go up a gear it's usually game over.
How dare you call me a deluded idiot when you come with your useless and clueless logic. First of all, Brook was quite obviously drained in his fight against Spence. Secondly, Brook was performing decently against Spence until his eye injury came to front. The fact his eye socket was broken in the GGG fight then the Brook fight is quite indicative that he either has a natural weakness in that area of his anatomy or GGG breaking his orbital bone caused a vulnerability in that area. Either way that was not my main and quite obvious point. I said Brooks LAST TWO fights demonstrated how shot he is.. And those points still hold. Stop hyping up fighters beating shot fighters you deluded clown
I was happy to see Crawford up against a skilled full size welter. Brook looked pretty big and is a decent boxer. He just doesn’t have the punch resistance he once had. It’s a solid win by Crawford. Not a great one but he took care of business. Crawford needs to fight a top tier welter next or move up to JM. He will be giving up size but I hope he doesn’t wait around for Spence to sign on the line. Manny would be a good fight. He’d be Crawford’s toughest opponent even though he’s not the punching machine he once was.
This was no surprise. It was predicted by most given that Brook is pretty shot. I don't get the near hysteria about Bud stopping him like he did.
Can one of you explain something to me about Crawford? I’m not sure the rankings but I’d imagine he’d be ranked 1 or 2 at the moment, but how is that so exactly? He hasn’t fought Spence, Porter, Thurman, Garcia, or Pacquaio, if those men plus Crawford take up the top 6 slots in the welterweight division then how is Crawford ranked so highly if he hasn’t fought or beaten anyone else in the top 5? Just curious
2 rounds to 1 in a 12 round fight is hardly definitive. The fight had barely started when Crawford ended it
Brook was in the fight. Crawford wasn't having an easy time getting by Brook's jab, Untill Crawford turned southpaw and landed a jab. Brook was gun shy.
You can't blame any of Brooks short comings on Crawford, he did what he was supposed to do and in timely fashion. If Brook wasn't ready he should have stayed at home. Crawford gets big ups for dispatching Brook the way he was supposed to.
