...now that Wilder and Hunter have openly said that they are not interested. You can add Usyk, because he is 100% planning to pursue the WBO heavyweight title.

I am really curious as to who they are going to dig up.

People looking to make a name for themselves. Mostly nobodies and a few failed heavyweight prospects.

Povetkin came in at 224 last time I think ????

Some way of him coming in as its inaugural champ would make it less crappy.

Please no. Don't feed them good ideas. Just let it die.

Hilarious. They create a division that nobody wants to fight in. Great job.

Let me make a guess. WBC will try to promote this new BS division by finding two fighters who will be willing to fight each other for the World Title of the Bridgerweight Division. Then it will put 10 no-name fighters into the list of this division without asking them. So, it's gonna be the same way as IBF did in the past when it first started to establish itself to be one of the world sanction bodies.

Babic could be a big player. I like the Savage, but no way Babic can be competitive with the super HWs. He's not even a big SCW.

When many of these smaller HWs lose to the big boys they'll be glad to fight for a title at SCW, maybe even DW when he gets curb stomped by someone besides Fury.

Who ever they can get to pay the absorbent sanctioning fee. The average sanctioning fee of $200k for a belt.

If you're already in the 224 range you might as well fight for the heavyweight title. Nobody wants this stupid belt. The fighters or the fans. #Too many belts

Not another weight division to break up HW! I'm old enough to remember when they first created cruiserweight. At least it took about 40 years for the alphabet gangs to do this again.
