Nice to see for the fans AJ milking every penny during a recession.

You won’t be paying? You mean you have a choice? That’s mad.

Haha, he is extracting the urine out of people with that.

Can only now imagine that the 2 fights with Fury will smash the £30 mark.

Time to renew my Anglers Licence...

Eddie is a snake, he is just an out and out liar so everyone saw this coming

He gets away with it too because people just moan and then stump up the cash anyway. He knows that's what happens so he continues to increase prices. Wait for a "special" occasion and use it as justification to bump the price and then keep it there going forward

Just don't buy it, I don't understand what's so hard about that. Once everyone stops buying, then he will have to price his products accordingly to sell them again.

You need to understand that this isn't the end, this isn't the final price hike. It will continue and continue. It's gone on for too long already, it needs nipping in the bud now

I take it you’re unaware how supply and demand works? There’s people who will feel it’s worth 25 quid and will pay the money. It’s like saying “If everyone stops paying 6 quid a pint, we can get it back to 1 quid a pint”, that’s not how it works.

Why in this era with so many other ways of tuning in people pay for PPV. Madness.

    You're contradicting yourself.

The example you used is largely how supply and demand works. If the card is marketed at £25 and the organisers only achieve 20% (in reality, it would not need to be this low - this is just an example - your beer example is set to 0%) of their estimated sales, and this kept happening, future prices absolutely would be decreased. Comparatively poor sales mean that all existing corporate partnerships would be fruitless for the partner and likely Matchroom and Sky - who are probably on some kind of sliding scale, at a minimum.

Regardless, Matchroom FC will no doubt pay their money and the prices will end up increasing. None of this matters to me whatsoever, anyway, as I won't be paying.

He said he believed that there wouldn’t be another £24.95 PPV for some time and there wasn’t, that was over a year ago.

I thought it went without saying but obviously not, he doesn’t choose the price either.

This is a fight I want to see and have been looking forward to. I want to support the sport and the people that make their living from bringing it to us. Unfortunately, the only way I can signal to Sky and Matchroom my view that £20 represented the ceiling for a UK PPV is not to purchase it. :(

Isn't the matter of no gate revenue playing a bigger part here?

Both Hearn and Joshua are multi-millionaires. How much more do they need?

Compare to Warren who could legitimately have called Dubois v Joyce as a PPV but instead, slapped it on the telly for Free.

Sorry but this is Hearn's gateway to charging £30 for the Fury fight.

You can hear it already "Yeah but Pulev was a lower class fight at £24-99 whilst this is a once in a lifetime Undisputed Clash of Heavyweight Champions and £30 is a fair price for such a one off (two actually Eddie!) momentous event!".

It's only going to - sadly - get worse.

Boycott is the only answer to combat such nefarious greed.
