Except nobody is? Just 5 pages on how AJ and Hearn are the only ones ripping people off it’s hilarious. And besides, it’s AJ is as glass chinned as posters on here claim, it could be an even fight.
I swear there is a dedicated thread to that joke of a PPV so i think your actually wrong on that I dont recall it being praised too much either I havent read a post saying Hearn and AJ are the only p stakers either They blatantly are but they aint alone, just leading the charge
Not worth 25p Join the Angling Club Xmas Party down The River Inn - the place is bursting to capacity on fight nights.
Hit em right where it hurts and stream/dodgy box from now on; I have been doing it for 6months and haven’t looked back. Used to buy PPV’s all the time due to wanting to watch it in HD quality with no buffering etc but the quality is now almost inseparable If there’s any people in the business disgusted by reading that then stop taking the **** by extorting fans. I happily subscribed to boxnation and sky When there were competitive Saturday night fights, paid PPV at £16.95 a couple of times per year as the cards were generally stacked and it felt as if value was being given.
You will get Hearn justifying it by saying 'It's the same price as X pints and a kebab - no one has gone to the pub for a month so treat yourself!' and talking about people in 'their mums box room' and 'transformer pyjamas' or whatever it is "hating" on the PPV. Same play book every single time
The undercard is odd in that the Hughie and Okolie fights are actually very good matchups. But will almost certainly be totally unwatchable
Cissokho-Conway added to the bill too. That’s a decent domestic fight. Card looking plenty fine in fairness
I was being glib. I actually quite like Hughie, despite him being in some stinkers. He lacks power but he's got some skill and in many other eras UK boixng fans would be excited at having a HW who could move well and maybe had the potential to go higher. It's just at present there's an embarrassment of riches at HW. Okolie... I feel a little guilty. He's started late, physically he clearly lives the life and I do wish him well. It's just the boxing part... If I didn't feel 25 was taking the **** I'd be looking forward to it. I do however, very much so.
its clear only way to fund the fight was to increase the price. I think this has happended partly due to the Whyte fight being cancelled. Only issue my guess is that it will decrease a lot of buys
Was reffering to Whyte vs povetkin rematch. However The unified HW champ vs a top 10 fighter (that argubably has the best jab in the divison) in AJ vs Pulev is a good fight I'm interested in watching.
