Dude... since you have had absolutely no knowledge on Smith's training or anything leading up to this fight, all you are doing is making assumptions. And making assumptions is fine, just acknowledge them for what they are, just assumptions.

Smith didnt know he would be the one getting the call until it was signed. It was between him and Yildrim.

Smith didnt know about it but you knew weeks in advance?

Did our eyes decieve us when Canelo got the 114-114 draw against Floyd Mayweather from Adelaide Byrd?

Or the 118-112 score against Golovkin?

Was he training for Canelo or just going to the gym doing sit ups and hitting the bag?

    Big difference.

A normal training camp for big fights is 8-10 weeks. This is common practice. That the fight was announced a month from fight night means that Smith is taking this fight on short notice. Smith himself said he finally found out within hours of the announcement. The situation is not ideal for Smith, plain and simple.

Are people really this stupid to believe that Smith isn't being handicapped here?

We all know what a normal training camp is. You don't have to keep posting that. You are assuming the worst about Smith's camp w/o any prior knowledge.

There's always an asterisk next to Canelo's fights; the opponents always seem to be handicapped somehow or there is a political underhand controlling things.

I would love to see him face Beterbiev one day and attempt this and end up having the Chechen mafia turn up via Ramzan Kadyrov.

Even with a full camp Smith isn't ready

    Canelo will walk this fight.

You're reaching. Sometimes it's about the process of repeating things over and over.

Answer me this — name me some big fights where both combatants willingly chose and agreed, unrestricted by a set date/schedule, to undergo a training camp in the 3-4 week range (giving you some flexibility here).

I can't believe how many morons are actually saying that Callum Smith isn't being handicapped here.

He knew, doe! He stayed ready, doe!

And like I said repeatedly... staying active and going to the gym is not an adequate substitute for actual weeks in training camp. Do you think this situation is ideal, yes or no?

Of course it isn't ideal. But EVERYTHING you are posting is simply your assumption. You've already convinced yourself Canelo will have had a full camp, while Callum only three weeks. And it's all based on nothing of substance. All you are doing is repeating the same assumption over and over. Find something that backs up what you think FFS. That'll at least give your post some credence.
