I have, several times, I think it's you that needs to watch it again. Wlad got beat up and dropped for the first half of that round, he was pretty gassed himself. Remember, the reason why AJ was gassed was from him beating a crap out of Wlad. That takes a toll... you know that right? Although you're saying boy, who's clearly madly in love, I doubt anything I say would get through your thick skull.

What can I say. The evidence is in front of you and you still choose to ignore it. You’d have to be blind as Stevie Wonder if you don’t think Wlad landed any clean flush left hooks on Joshua.

Yeah that wasn't bad but he's still sent to la-la land by them. And you can see that Wlad is pushing his shots, he's exhausted too.

He was gassed out and ate then and didn’t go down unlike Pulev who was in his back every time that shot landed yet people in this thread are calling Pulev solid chinned and AJ weak chinned. That’s the point i’m making. Joshua coming in 250 lbs that fight nearly cost him the fight. Shouldn’t be above 240 from now on. He still retains his power at that weight and won’t gas out as easy.

Meh, I think they're both kinda average. If I had to pick, I';d pick Pulev chin wise but I don't think he's streets ahead.

Joshua will not struggle with Pulev, Joshua just has to be aggresive but still keep it long, he has to force the pace on the 39 year old Pulev, Joshua needs to do this, but always know where his feet are so pulev can not land his jab, Joshua has the longer reach, so if he keeps throwing straight punches at him and the occasional long left hook at the same time keeping his balance so he doesn't fall into punches, Pulev will not be able to get his boxing going as he has the shorter reach and will not be able to hit Joshua much as Joshua is not putting himself into Pulev's jabbing range, Pulev has to try and make Joshua overreach and lean in with his punches by stepping back slightly with his feet and then throwing his jab, but if Joshua keeps it on him after Pulev throws the jab, the jab will not be enough, the only way Pulev as success here is if Joshua decides to box at range at a slow pace trying to outjab him which I don't think he will do

Pulev used be very good at controlling the range. Maybe he's still still good cos Hughie Fury could barely land a glove on him not too long ago.
Klitschko's illegal spongy canvas meant he didn't have to deal with Pulev's awkward in and out movement behind the jab.

I suspect AJ will have problems with the range if Pulev uses his legs like he did against Bogdan. . If he has no legs anymore and stands still with no defence like he did against Wlad , AJ will bomb him outta there.

The fights an interesting one .. Will watch , will buy for £24.99

I think he was good. But I got no time for fighters that waste their entire career doing nothing. **** him, and **** Andrade.

    Agreed.

Wlad can crack. I can see anyone going down against him. No fault in either guy (Joshua or Pulev) getting decked by him. He's very heavy handed.

Andy Ruiz can't crack. Andy Ruiz isn't heavy handed. It's embarrassing if you go down against Andy Ruiz, let alone going down four times and quitting against him.

Pulev has the better chin. But Joshua hits harder.

Pulev is the better boxer. Pulev has the better chin. When Joshua has tried to box his way to a win in the past, no one has been impressed.

Joshua can turn a fight with his power, though. That's how he's impressed people over the years. His power is legit.

Heart will likely be the determining factor in this fight.

Will Pulev just put his gloves over his face and look for a spot to fall down, or will he take it to Joshua?

And if Pulev is hitting him, will Joshua look to "call time" (like he did against Parker) or sense things aren't going his way and just quit again?

Or will Joshua stand his ground and go for a knockout?

It should be a good fight if both guys put in honest efforts.

But, like others have said, Pulev has been fighting pretty weak opposition (Booker, Peter, Kingpin, Dinu), and Joshua quit against Ruiz, so who the hell knows.

It would be nice if both tried hard. I hope that's not too much to ask. (LOL)

No not a chance. He was dropped every time that left hook landed. AJ kept going. Joshua took more punishment over 11 round than Pulev did against Wlad and he only got dropped once. AJ definitely has a better chin. Hughie Fury wobbled Pulev ffs.

Pulev has been dropped 3 times by the only decent heavyweight he’s ever fought. Joshua had an equilibrium problem against Ruiz it didn’t have anything to do with being hurt from a shot to his chin. You’re a Wilder fan yeah? What’s your excuse for Wilder being out on his feet from a left hook from Molina. Wilder is the chinniest heavyweight in the top 10 and his managers kept him away from Joshua, Wlad and Povetkin for good reason.

But only dropped in 2 fights. Which is fewer than Fury, Povetkin, Whyte and Wilder.
