hes so open, also I noticed early on that every time formella threw a straight right benn would dip to formella’s left every time.

If some threw a faint right and slammed in a left hook you could put benn on his arse.

Matt Macklin -'I think he is ready to fight for a British Title'

Fook me 4 years and 16 fights as a pro - it should have been in the bag a long time ago.

Pudding Chisora was scheduled to fight Wlad after 13 fights for a World Title.

That really was a very impressive performance from Benn, offensively. The jab, the variety and lateral movement was really very very good. Not sure how much he’s improved defensively because he didn’t respect the lads power at all. I’ve been a big critic of him but well done to him tonight.

Fair play to Benn, that’s a legit win. He did well. Good body work. His defence is trash. And he’ll be totally undone when he fights someone who can pressure him. But he did well here. Kelly ruins him.

As for earlier on the card, that Lartey KO looked remarkably suspect.

All of a sudden the Josh Kelly fight looks a lot more even on paper but Benn’s lack of power is a concern. If we’re going to be over critical we can say he leaves himself open far too much but I was really impressed by his body shots, his jab and handspeed generally.

I’m more baffled as to why he didn’t get some coverage on his chin when he got that beard transplant.

But yeah he’s got sponsorship with Reebok so I’m sure he’s still considered marketable notwithstanding the tats.

I would like Conor a lot more if he acted like what he is, a nice silverspoon kid from Australia.
